Very cool place with great music!

Great live sets. Packed, even on a Sunday, with a young crowd who doesn't have a clue how to dance boogie/swing/anything else but saw Lalaland. Hardly any space to dance but hey.... still great fun !

Mythical and timeless. The Parisian jazz club par excellence.

Arrived at 9:30, queued for half an hour, and entered the venue around 10 o'clock.

So I read a bunch of the other reviews and basically they are all right. It comes down to depending on the show and what atmosphere you like. This is in the basement caves of an old building and is cramped and crowded but super cool. You probably won’t get a seat. The crow will likely be younger or older than you. I went with my 18 year old daughter to the Monday blues. It was really rock and roll with a bluesy flare the night we were there. Cover was €10 for a student and I think €15 for me. We didn’t get any drinks (what would we do with them standing or dancing in such a crowd). You could and have them upstairs as a break from the crowd below and then head back down. I didn’t have cash so no stowing our coats - bring some cash. If you want it slightly softer than the dance floor there re some alcoves that you can retreat to. Pick a night you will like the music. Expect a crowd and plan accordingly. And above all dance.
