I went there at the end of July 2019 and I was pleasantly surprised to find a young man behind the counter who serves you with a smile without seeing in you a simple addition that will satisfy him but on the contrary one more opportunity offered by the world of a meeting between humans who, through discussions around a tomato or cream-based pizza, discover that they share many more things than it seems. So I don't leave the place almost every evening, I've been there since the beginning of August and I can say that instead of relaxing on a beach in Ramatuelle or Le Lavandou, I spend my Lyon holidays in Lyon 3rd at Pizz'appel : the place that restores the stomach and..... the mind! Points +: Excellent pizza dough A large choice Points -: Too many ingredients on pizzas and sometimes disturbing (eg: balsamic sauce on salmon) Weird Caesar salad: salad, ham, chicken, but? In summary, a good basis but disturbing and not harmonious choices

07/12/2025: Found by chance in Old Lyon during the Festival of Lights at lunchtime. After reading the reviews, we decided to give it a try. A 15-minute wait was expected, but it was raining, no problem. The person seating us opened the awning so we could stay dry. Once seated on the first floor, our orders were taken quickly and with a smile and friendly service. The house cocktails were very intoxicating; being a Lambrusco fan, I ordered a small glass—very fragrant, a delight for the palate. The onion soup was truly excellent, and the other dishes were generous and hearty. The pizza was well-topped with a light and creamy crust. The desserts were very good. However, the only downside I would mention is that for an Italian restaurant, their coffee tasted more like tea, so it wasn't at all authentically Italian.
07/12/2025: We ended up there by chance and it was a very good discovery: the meal was very good and sufficiently filling, the staff were welcoming and the restaurant was very pretty!
