Pizzeria Popolare sur Paris

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 100% recommended! At Pizzeria Popolare, we felt at home from the first moment. We ate wonderfully, honestly, even better than in many Italian restaurants, and found a family-friendly, cheerful, and genuinely Italian atmosphere. The prices were also a pleasant surprise: truly excellent value in the heart of Paris. A special mention goes to the two young men who were working at the bar downstairs last night. They were kind, polite, and professional, but above all, they conveyed a contagious cheerfulness and lightheartedness. They joked constantly with each other as they worked, always smiling, but never missing an order: attentive, diligent, and incredibly fast. It was truly wonderful to see them working with such happiness. And then the location is spectacular: beautiful, well-kept, and with an atmosphere that makes the experience even more enjoyable. We left feeling like we'd found a little piece of Italy in Paris: we ate wonderfully, had a wonderful time, and paid a fair price. If there were six stars, we'd give it a sixth! ⭐️ It's definitely a place we'll return to time and time again every time we're in Paris. Absolutely recommended! 🇮🇹❤️

The restaurant's atmosphere is fantastic. The service is friendly and fast. The Mafaldine al Tartufo absolutely deserves all the praise they receive. The dough and tomato sauce on the Stracciatella e Pesto pizza could make even Neapolitans jealous, but I would have preferred if the stracciatella wasn't used with the same rarity with which one might find a mistake in a Leonardo da Vinci's work. The pizzas are very good, but the restaurant is extremely noisy.

I absolutely loved this pizzeria! The crust was perfectly risen and fluffy, the toppings were generous, and the Mortadella Pesto Burrata was truly excellent 🤤 The place is gorgeous, very lively, and the staff is lovely, with many Italian servers. You almost feel like you're in Italy for the duration of your meal. And for Paris, the prices are really great: pizzas around €15 and, best of all, an Aperol Spritz for €6.90! Just remember to book ahead, it's very popular.

I heard there was racism, but there was absolutely none. It seems like a local favorite, and I really enjoyed the meal.

As regulars at the restaurant, we experienced a slightly shaky start to the service for a birthday celebration, but the team more than made up for it towards the end of the meal, and the manager was incredibly attentive. Thank you. However, it's true that the tiramisu is no longer served as it used to be, directly from the dish to the plate, and the portion is smaller. The pasta was excellent, but we also had the impression that a small part of the recipe had been changed.

Thank you Michele!! Excellent service and a very pleasant meal thanks to her great service. Update 1 year later: This was a restaurant I LOVED. I went at least 5 times. I found the prices affordable and the food was fantastic. I don't know why, but they decided to lower the prices, and unfortunately, I can really feel it in the quality… It was my favorite truffle pasta, but I have to say it tasted more like cream than truffle. The same goes for the arancini appetizer; the minced meat inside was frozen 🥲 Luckily, the service makes up for it; they're all smiling and lovely! I'm really disappointed by this change in art direction with plates made in the United Arab Emirates. It really takes away the charm of having removed the beautiful Italian tableware! I just hope that all the restaurants in the group don't go in this direction because, as a big fan, I've tried the London, Paris, and Brussels locations and I've never been disappointed until now. I'd rather pay €21 for my truffle pasta and get the original flavors than pay €19 for what I received…

Delicious pizza. Best food we've had in Paris. Excellent appetizers. We just went back again.
