Excellent experience. The staff are absolutely lovely and attentive; despite a misunderstanding about the reservation, a solution was found immediately. The place is pleasant, especially with children (the changing table is great 💛). The brunch is delicious, a little pricey, but you're also paying for the location. I'll definitely be back!

Quality of the food was disappointing. We ordered fish and chips and cold tomato soup with hashbrowns and grilled cheese sandwich. Fish and chips tasted as if cooked from frozen (pale floppy batter and chips were not fresh: mushy fries) both cooled quickly. Grilled cheese congealed instantly and soup was not tasty. We’ve been coming for years and this was meant to be a holiday treat. Not sure if it is a blip or whether due to change of ownership. We hope it was a blip. May come for lose leaf tea only in future.

Delicious, light, and not-too-fat carrot cake with a London Forme, a truly London drink. Particularly fond of the first room on the left as you enter.

A cozy spot, a timeless British escape on Rue de Rivoli. Friendly staff, restrooms, extensive menu. Three dining rooms. Open Tuesday to Sunday, lunch Tuesday to Friday, brunch Saturday and Sunday. Closed between 2:30 pm and 3:30 pm

04/07/2026: It was an unplanned stop, as it was on the way between two towns...and what a pleasant surprise! We only ordered pizzas, which were excellent. The crust was thin, and they were made with fresh ingredients. The wine list featured only good wines; we opted for a Primitivo, which was a strong contender against a Chianti—both reliable choices! The staff was friendly, and the owner even offered us a taste of another wine right after we paid the bill. There was also a small Italian grocery section. In short, don't hesitate!
