A very beautiful site. You might spot many Iberian ibex, including one that's a regular at the Pont d'Espagne (see photo) 😊, as well as Pyrenean chamois.

An ideal starting point for an invigorating hike to Lake Gaube (approximately 7 km, 250m elevation gain/loss round trip). My personal favorite in the area. It's an almost magical place where water, forest, and mountains meet. A powerful landscape set to the rhythm of the Gave de Gaube river. Remember to bring good walking shoes and a picnic to enjoy along the way or at Lake Gaube, respecting nature. You can also eat at the lake's hotel-restaurant when it's open. Please note that dogs are only allowed at Lake Gaube and must be kept on a leash.

A place out of time. A little Canada, rivers, magnificent snowy landscapes, 4 ski slopes but really inexpensive. A good toboggan run. We had some wonderful days there. Thank you to the staff with their big smiles at reception, gondola, ski lifts, and chairlift. Incredibly kind.
