The meal was decent. The extra Munster sauce on the ham hock was very expensive for the small amount, which was practically nonexistent (+€4). This is a place to stop by, not a traditional restaurant.

The waitress took precise care when I said I had an onion allergy, when my food came out and the salad had onions, she took the whole dish back and made the cook remake it in case of contamination. The reason we chose this place was because it had a dish I could eat that didn't have onions in it, so I was thankful she was kind and helpful in that way, we haven't seen that much in our travels in France. She was the only waitress and she was the most attentive we have seen in France so far. It also helped that she spoke very clear, good English. Plus, the food was very good! All three of us enjoyed our meal(s). I would definitely recommend this place.

The welcome was adequate. We had limited space at the table and for our bags and coats. The service was friendly, but the food was average for the price, especially the desserts. The tarte flambée and pizza were good, but the sauerkraut and baeckeoffe were mediocre and small. The vacherins at €12 were very disappointing for that price; we were expecting a beautiful, artisanal vacherin—what a letdown! A pot with an enormous amount of industrial whipped cream, a little ice cream, and a few meringues at the bottom. The profiteroles were also disappointing.

The food was fresh and tasty.
The waitress was unpleasant and impatient. I ordered a flammekueche with a glass of beer, and the water was charged to us. The service was rushed, clearly aimed at taking on new customers.
