The cheese platter was excellent, and the wine was superb. The Dominican waiter who served us was very friendly, attentive, and professional.

A cross between a pub and a restaurant, centrally located in the historic center. We were greeted on both evenings with great kindness and helpfulness, despite our language barrier. The food was simple but very good, and the prices were significantly lower than the local average. The place is very casual, just how we like it, and the young woman who looked after us was attentive and super friendly, so much so that we returned the next evening. Recommended.

We had something to eat outside on the terrace here; it was very busy in the town, so there was plenty to see from the terrace. I had a pizza. Karin had a goat cheese salad. Both were very good.

First time that my wife ate "flammekueche". It was super. The environment is idyllic. This is the perfect place to drink, eat and enjoy the surrounding. I also tasted the rose beer and again 2 thumbs up.

La Diligence

07/09/2026: A wonderful experience. The waitress was especially kind and friendly, and she recommended some delicious local wines for us to try. We really enjoyed them while relaxing on the lovely terrace, in a truly unique setting. A perfect place to sit back, enjoy a good glass of wine and soak up the atmosphere of Riquewihr. Highly recommended!
27/08/2026: We came here for sauerkraut and we weren't disappointed; it was very well served, delicious, and plentiful. The dessert, a blueberry tart, was excellent. The staff is very pleasant, smiling, and very professional. We will definitely come back here on our next trip to Alsace.
