Restaurant à l'homme sauvage sur Wissembourg

I had a delicious tarte flambée for lunch. The sweet one with pear was very tasty :) Dogs are allowed on the terrace.

A great restaurant that makes its own bacon for its tarte flambée. Excellent service with a courteous owner, a smiling waitress, and reasonable prices! Besides their tarte flambée, their other dishes are also very good! In Wissembourg, it's my favorite restaurant! I go there regularly.

We come to this restaurant regularly, especially for its Alsatian specialties. My husband loves the baeckeoffe and the ham hock braised in beer, while I really enjoy the tarte flambée. The drinks are less expensive than in other restaurants. The restaurant's atmosphere is surprising, but I find it cool. The owner and his waitress are very kind. I almost forgot the delicious goat cheese salad. There's a large terrace when it's not raining.

They have an exceptionally good bakery oven here. It's been consistently outstanding for years. I'm already looking forward to my next visit.

It's actually quite nice there, but watch out for the bill. Pleasant area both inside and out, the staff is friendly, helpful, and multilingual. The Fischer draft beer is excellent. The food is okay. The portion (especially the side dish) could be a bit larger. But then came the surprise with the bill. The wine ordered by the glass arrived in 0.2-liter glasses, but I was charged for 1/4 liter. The veal strips were listed on the menu for €19.50, but the bill came to €21. Unfortunately, I only noticed this after leaving.

Nice restaurant. The tarte flambée was very good. A good selection of dishes as well. Plenty of tables for four and six people. The staff is bilingual. I will definitely visit again.

There's a great selection of food, so there's something for everyone. They even have dishes you don't find everywhere. The staff is very friendly, and the owner speaks German.

We stumbled upon this wonderful restaurant by chance. It's a bit off the beaten tourist track. The owner is very welcoming, and the food is authentic Alsatian. The tarte flambée is divine – crispy and generously topped. The price is absolutely reasonable. We'll definitely be back. Thanks again for the tip about the charming half-timbered villages. We visited them.
