If you're passing through Andlau, be sure to eat at this restaurant. The setting is magnificent, the staff are welcoming and friendly, and we had a delicious homemade meal.
We'll gladly return.

A truly lovely place, with very friendly, attentive, and kind waitresses. The Christmas decorations were tastefully done, and the Advent wreath on each table was a nice touch. The service was quick and the food was excellent.

Hello,
I gave the food a 4/5 rating, not because it wasn't good—quite the contrary, the dishes were very good—but in comparison to the restaurant's previous menu.
I remember the previous owner's cuisine, which was more traditional, offering dishes like potato pancakes, an approach I really enjoyed. The current menu has been updated, but it remains of very high quality.
Regarding the service:
Concerning the service and welcome, I would have appreciated it if the owner, who also serves the staff, had come to ask us if we enjoyed our meals. This thoughtful gesture is especially welcome, particularly for a table of 12.
