Restaurant au Château Le Cagnard sur Cagnes-Sur-Mer

Very nice place, in the castle! Pleasant service, gourmet dinner and complimentary champagne for our anniversary! Magnificent room with a beautiful view! Large and beautiful bathroom!

A really nice experience. Hotel with a medieval look but with exceptional bedding and attentive staff.

I only rate the restaurant. Good points : - very good dishes. - friendly waiter. Negative points : - appetizers (vegetable chips) brought before the menu choice. Then we choose the 5 senses menu in 5 courses, indicated after the amuse bouche on the menu. We only have 4 services, ask the waiter for an explanation, he only counts 4 too, then comes back to tell us after checking that the appetizer counts as a service. In principle why not but it's really not clear on the map. Why mention only one of the 5 services and then write a 5-course menu? Mystery... - 32€ paid in addition to the bill, fortunately I checked the credit card ticket (reimbursed immediately). - carafe of still water for €6. Mixed impression overall despite the quality of the meal...

One of the best restaurant experiences I've had! But not the way I planned.. For my husbands birthday we wanted to celebrate with a nice dinner and this place looked amazing and is just around the corner from home. Only problem was the 7 month old baby. So the whole day was just preparing for a smooth evening. The baby fell asleep in his pram 10 min before our reservation and we thought we had done everything right. Just as the prosecco was poured into our glass the baby was awake. Damn. As parents the level of stress when a baby can potentially ruin the night of everyone at a restaurant is extreme. But it turned out to be a memory of a lifetime. The amazing staff went all in. Our baby is very curious and social, not screaming or being sad. Just wanting to participate in all the fun. Everyone talked to him, smiled at him, picked up his piece of bread from the floor (sorry!). As I tried to eat with one hand simultaneously keeping the fast strong baby hands away from the table my husband had to cut up my beautiful food in to pieces. The staff took the plate away to keep it warm and returned it with the pieces professionally arranged as if it was made to be eaten like that haha. Eventually we gave up on the nice dining room and took our dessert in the bar. They arranged a table for us and just kept being warm and friendly. I absolutely hate the thought of bringing a fussy baby to a restaurant and ruining everyones night, but our boy just wanted to see the spectacular venue and talk to all the amazing staff. Thank you so much for a night to remember.

Excellent restaurant que j'ai connu dans les années 2000, service est excellent. Le lieu est accessible avec une voiture de golf, car les rues sont étroites.

The staff is so incredibly attentive and caring! I visited during their break so I unfortunately couldn’t try the food, but, still, I felt compelled to write above their excellent service. They have gone above and beyond to make me feel welcome, offering me pastries and treating me to a warm blanket, while I enjoyed the stunning view on the terrace. A special thank you to Fiona and the staff. Highly recommend!

If you're not scared of staying a little off the beaten path you can't go wrong with Chateau Le Cagnard. Located at the top of a hill not far from the Nice airport and all the action of the cote d'azure this place is tucked away is a sleepy little village that'll charm your socks off!

We came here for dinner for my parent's 30th anniversary. The experience was amazing. The location was beautiful and the food was excellent. Our waiter was very funny and friendly. He showed us the terrace even though it was closed. The view was breathtaking. I would 100% recommend this place
