What a good address, the cassoulet is delicious. The owner and waitresses are adorable. I recommend it to you.

Restaurant in Castelnaudary with a small facade on the street which doesn't look like much. Traditional local cuisine prepared by the very friendly, experienced cook Germaine, always in the kitchen. Restaurant with a cassoulet specialty on the menu. Very reasonable prices and well-prepared homemade dishes with regional products. Downside on the service of the day of our lunch, a little long and with an order error, but excused because the waitress was alone in the room and overwhelmed. Restaurant to try without problem.

Good meal in a calm and relaxing atmosphere, but the waitress was poorly informed (not aware of what is in the dessert, see what is left for dessert) She also knows how to deceive into giving a coke, instead of a whiskey and coke ( serves a creme coffee in a broken cup.) And, she took our order outside without us sitting down so we could smoke. Too bad because the meal was excellent just by reviewing the work of the waitress.

Members of the campervan group the Gang des Caps Rouges, we had a great time in this family restaurant. High quality service with a meal worthy of a great restaurant. A super good cassoulet with its melting beans, duck leg and sausage. A Perigourdine salad, frozen nougat and cream. Thank you again for this atmosphere. I highly recommend this restaurant and I will definitely return to Castelnaudary.

Lunch break to taste Germaine’s cassoulet. Very generous 24th menu. Cassoulet a little too salty for our taste but we are full!!! THANKS

Came during the cassoulet festival with a group of 20 motorhome drivers the red caps A menu for €30 Aperitifs, gourmet salad, cassoulet, dessert We had a great and very good festive meal with a welcome from Germaine and the very friendly waitresses I recommend and we will come back Thanks to you

Excellent restaurant, the staff is very friendly. We enjoyed a magnificent salad of foie gras, duck breast... On the other hand, an effort would be desirable for the wine which is not famous and given the price!!!

Spontan auf Empfehlung unseres Vermieters hier ein Cassoulet als Menu gegessen, das beste Cassoulet, das wir je gegessen haben mit einem Salat mit Entenbrust und gebratenen Gésiers (Hühnermägen), lecker 😋 und Dessert. Sehr familiäre Atmosphäre, freundliche Wirtin und Bedienung, sehr gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Wir können das Restaurant uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen und kommen gerne wieder, wenn wir in Castelnaudary sind.

Le Tirou

03/09/2024: Tirou, it's over. It is no longer Mr. Visentin who is in charge of the kitchen and who offered an extraordinary 100% homemade cassoulet. Now, the MT workshop subcontracts a cassoulet from Maison Escudier (according to the waitress). If this remains correct, we are far from what we tasted at Tirou; it's just good but far from exceptional... The house has lost its charm, the animals have left the garden. It's a shame, it was a nice stopover on the way to the holidays, I will look for another house during my next visit to Castelnaudary.

02/10/2024: Excellent food, perfect service, a room with toilets and a shower worthy of a 5 star hotel. I highly recommend.
25/09/2024: Wonderful wedding night spent in this establishment with my wife following our wedding! A very gastronomic restaurant, very good and warm. The room was beautiful, luxurious, spacious and there were even rose petals for our arrival 😍 The staff is smiling, professional and very kind, we were entitled to congratulations from the staff but also from the other people present for our wedding, a very good atmosphere. Large and secure parking. A very good breakfast (14€/pers) served as you wish! In short, a stay forever marked in our lives, thank you! ❤️
