You've barely arrived when a door opens, a smile greets you, and your luggage finds its place on the trolley as if by magic. An upgrade takes me to the suite, which impresses not with size, but with thoughtful restraint: everything is there to make your stay pleasant – from the calming colors to the balcony, which on warm days is sure to be the best spot in the house. The view of the lake: unobstructed. The room: quiet, although occasionally a piece of furniture goes on a journey to neighboring rooms. Service at the bar and in the restaurant? Pleasant – with that gentle understatement that doesn't feel forced. You're noticed, but not hounded. A hotel you remember – not for grand gestures, but because it lingers in your memory like a place you'd gladly return to when you're in the area and know what you want: peace, a view, and service.

A very nice hotel. A minor drawback was the Jade room, where one of the two beds made creaking and squeaking noises as soon as you lay down. The bed was still comfortable, though. Excellent restaurant with friendly and well-trained staff. Delicious menu, special mention for the chocolate dessert, truly exceptional! Thank you again to the person who cleaned the room after our departure and who actively helped me find a watch I had left behind.

A superb experience for couples. Special mention for the breakfast. The staff is very pleasant and attentive. The spa is lovely. The location is simply ideal, and the services offered met all our expectations. A breathtaking view from the room. We will be back.

Location with breathtaking views of the mountains and Lake Annecy ⛰️ Very cute cottage-style hotel. Impeccable service. The staff is attentive. The hotel offers complimentary cookies in the room upon arrival, a thoughtful and delicious touch (special mention to the pastry chef, they're delicious 👍🏼). Also a special mention to the bartender, who was very friendly and welcoming. We had snacks at the bar, and the fries were incredibly good! However, a small suggestion: mention the cheese on the menu in the truffle croque monsieur. Room with lovely decor (some walls would be nice, but the shower grout needs to be redone), relatively clean. The only downside to the stay was that we slept very badly because of footsteps and especially the noise of chairs/furniture being dragged across the floor during the night (until almost 1:00 a.m.) due either to inconsiderate neighbors or to the bar/restaurant being tidied up very late...

We've known this place for a few years, but this time we're disappointed. Prices have gone up and portions are smaller. We even had to ask for the menu! The food was good but barely warm and the portions were minimal.

We had a wonderful weekend at the Black Bass! The location on the lakefront is perfect, and our room with a balcony and lake view offered exceptional wake-up calls. The staff was always attentive and very friendly. The pool and spa area are also very nice! We skipped our breakfasts at the hotel, which seemed expensive, and our experience at the restaurant was a little disappointing.

We're leaving the Blackbass and are absolutely delighted with our (rainy) stay at this establishment. The team is truly excellent, helpful, always accommodating, and above all, human. What a joy to have this warm and personal touch that some 5-star establishments lose by conforming to sterile standards and other fluff. The magnificent view of the lake from our room, top-notch and clean room service, and a generous and varied breakfast gave the gray sky all the color it was missing. We stayed one night in August. We were lucky enough to be upgraded. The room was magnificent! Breathtaking view of the lake, very quiet, and tastefully decorated. The only downside was that the bedding wasn't comfortable enough for my taste. We had breakfast in our room, which was too expensive for the quality of the products. The staff was friendly and welcoming. We also booked two Sothys facial treatments at the spa. The beautician took her time, the techniques were mastered, and the massage was very pleasant.
