Restaurant B. Collon - Auberge de Letraz

18/05/2026: Located on the west side of Lake Annecy, the hotel offered rooms with excellent views of the lake and the mountains across the way, and the rooms were clean and well-maintained.
It was wonderful to be able to leisurely enjoy the magnificent view, which was even better than the view from the city center.
When I needed to get around the city, I could take a city bus, ride a bicycle, or walk, as the buses ran quite frequently. Walking along the lakeside was particularly enjoyable as I could take in the scenery.
The staff at the front desk, bar, restaurant, and fitness center were always friendly and smiling.
In particular, on the last day, I had no choice but to make an unreasonable request due to transportation issues, but thanks to their willingness to help, I was able to resolve the situation successfully.
I will never forget my experience at the Black Bath Hotel Annecy.
Thank you for making this a wonderful experience.

15/05/2026: The room could use a few minor touch-ups but nothing dramatic, otherwise very clean.
15/05/2026: The view is magnificent and the heated pool is very pleasant.
However, the room is small and poorly soundproofed. The breakfast is quite basic and not worth €19.
Another negative point concerns Connect holiday vouchers: before booking, we called to confirm they were accepted, but only an hour before our arrival, the hotel informed us that they only accepted the paper version, even though the reservation was made eight days prior.
Finally, pool towels must be kept for the entire stay, but this information was not provided to us on the first day.

23/05/2026: The only downside: the ratings can't go beyond 5 stars.
Everything is perfect: the setting, the service (truly impeccable, genuinely French service, with special attention to our four-legged friends), and what can I say about the food?! The chef seems to initiate you into what could be called a culinary fantasy.
In short, be sure to book in advance to enjoy this idyllic experience that will transport you far beyond the shores of this lake.

08/05/2026: Excellent lunch for 7 people. We enjoyed a meal on the terrace overlooking the lake. The service was friendly and pleasant. We particularly liked the fried perch fillet, the signature burger, and the tuna tartare.
Don't hesitate to put your name on the waiting list: we did, and a table eventually became available. Fantastic!

26/04/2026: The welcome was cold, and we felt like we were bothering them. The appetizers were decent, but the main courses were sorely lacking in flavor.
The prices were also quite high for the quality offered.
My first experience was not the most pleasant.
26/04/2026: I was disappointed, starting with the reception. We felt like we were bothering them; there were no smiles, contrary to the "warm welcome" advertised. I imagine you know how to treat your loyal local customers well. We were on vacation, but that wasn't the case at all, and we won't be back!
The meat was dry, and the dishes are expensive for what they are!
I do not recommend it.

The bar service is great. The layout of the room needs improvement. Similarly, the management's impulsive choices regarding bands and DJs for dancing aren't very well thought out, which can affect attendance. Evenings now cost €10 including a drink on Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, putting it above the level charged by the best establishments in the area. There used to be a wide selection of food from four vendors, now reduced to two with above-average prices.
The paid dance classes aren't managed by the establishment, creating a lot of confusion about payment, and the providers end up not getting paid due to non-payment from users.
The management sometimes behaves aggressively and unjustifiably towards customers and vendors, which could harm the establishment's long-term development. 😱

18/01/2025: A magnificent place; the decoration of the hotel is modern and very beautiful, the rooms are amazing.
The welcome is perfect and the meal excellent.
The view from the hotel, just a stone's throw from the lake, adds further charm to the place.
We had a wonderful weekend!

This is the entrance.
I have always enjoyed the beef fillet and its vegetables.
The boss will advise you on a selection of good wines to accompany this menu, with tasting and moderation.
