Restaurant Barrière Ribeauvillé sur Ribeauville

We stayed two nights at the Resort Barrière Ribeauvillé, chosen primarily for its spa and wellness center. While the rooms and overall service quality met the standards of a 4-star hotel, several significant issues detracted from the experience. First, substantial construction work was underway at the hotel entrance (a crane was present), without us having been informed beforehand. But the main disappointment concerned the spa and wellness center. It is actually open to the public, resulting in large crowds and an atmosphere more akin to a public swimming pool than a high-end relaxation area. Furthermore, the hotel only has a few lounge chairs inside (4) for over 50 rooms, making any kind of relaxation difficult. After speaking with the spa manager, it appears that this situation is known but difficult to rectify in the short term. This nevertheless raises a genuine question about the alignment between the services offered and the legitimate expectations of hotel guests. Other areas for improvement: The sports bar clearly lacks charm and does not meet the expected standard. The absence of a proper hotel bar is surprising for this price range. At the Brasserie restaurant, the open layout overlooking the casino entrance detracts from the ambiance, and the interactions between guests arriving at the casino and the servers are not always up to standard. It should be noted, however, that breakfast and the brasserie are of good quality. In summary, an acceptable experience in some respects, but disappointing in the central element that had motivated our visit. Greater transparency and a repositioning of the spa services would be necessary to bring it in line with a 4-star rating.

My wife and I were regular customers at the Ribeauvillé casino. We went there, as we were customers of the Niederbronn establishment, and we wanted to try it out. We decided to alternate between the two locations. My dear wife has sadly passed away, so now I go back alone, with a heavy heart, but still with the same pleasure, especially when I manage to win, which is all too rare, as the winnings have become noticeably less generous. I'm going to Germany soon to see if the payout policy is more attractive... René.

I was given a weekend away for my birthday. And it was really great. I'll come back in the summer. We ate at a restaurant that was perfect for me.

Perfect, as always, we were treated like royalty. We're just not keen on the hammam and sauna because of the nudity.

The central thermal area is open to the public. I recommend you take a look. You won't be disappointed. The atmosphere is relaxing and the price is very affordable.

Excellent welcome, room decorated for the occasion. Very friendly staff. The indoor/outdoor spa area was very pleasant and clean; the underwater music pool was a particular highlight. Numerous thoughtful touches made the stay, and even the departure, enjoyable and welcoming.

I highly recommend it. We received a voucher for Christmas: a meal at the Brasserie + €20 in chips. When exchanging the voucher for the tickets, there was a misunderstanding, and we received a voucher for a meal at the Café des Sports. So, we spent our evening there, and after a visit to the casino and then the spa, we decided to go for dinner. However, upon reflection, we realized there had been a mistake (nothing serious, of course, to err is human). We went to the reception desk, and after speaking with a gentleman who handled the situation very calmly and professionally, we were finally able to eat at the restaurant we had booked at the last minute. Despite the complicated situation, we enjoyed a delicious meal and impeccable service. Many thanks to the person who dealt with this incident and guided us to a solution. We didn't think to take your name, but thank you again. We will return to enjoy the various services offered by the Ribeauville Barrière resort.
