Pleasantly surprised by the €20 set menu, the quality was excellent. A starter, main course, and dessert – that's becoming increasingly rare at this price. We had lunch for under €60 for two, including an aperitif, a carafe of wine, and a coffee.

A restaurant that far exceeds its ratings. While passing through Saint-Jean-de-Luz, we came across this restaurant even though it hadn't been recommended to us. The friendliness, the owner's wine recommendations, and the quality of the cod were all excellent.

I ordered a menu. My partner only ordered one dish. We asked for it to be served at the same time as my main course. So we could eat at the same time. My fish arrived cold. His burger... wasn't the right one. Replacing chorizo ​​with fish is starting to show. I had time to finish before he hadn't been refilled. And then we watched the waiter smoke his cigarette instead of clearing our plates for dessert... I should have read the reviews first. I wouldn't have come.

The mussels weren't cleaned 😕 and were served with only 3 fries; asking for more was an extra charge on top of the bill, not great!!! Very disappointed

30/08/2024: We came 2 years ago so we came back this year. We were disappointed We found the prices expensive... 24€ for the squid dish... the children's menu 12€ with a chocolate fondant for dessert which when it arrives is half fondant since the initial cake was shared... that's really a win-win... Fast service.

10/12/2025: We discovered Maison Pariès during a previous stay in the region. We stop by to buy Basque cakes every time we're in town to enjoy back home. They're delicious, and they gave us valuable tips on how to store them for a long time.
