Restaurant Bonnet - Hotel du Fronton sur Itxassou

We ate there as a group. Quality cuisine but in quantity it was a little tight. It's a very good restaurant that deserves 5 stars without hesitation.

11-day stay at the annex of the Hôtel du Fronton called Hôtel Agian with half board, very beautiful view of the mountains, very comfortable and well equipped room, good bedding, the half board meals are excellent, breakfasts with lots of choice, efficient and helpful staff, well-run establishment by the Bonnet family, very good value for money, I highly recommend.

Pour faire bref, nous avons dégusté des gambas au basilic, un grenadin de veau, un merlu de St Jean et enfin des fraises au mascarpone, arrosés d'un excellent Irouléguy Txurri. Le personnel est aimable, attentif et efficace. Le cadre (terrasse avec vue sur les montagnes) est sublime, et diner en regardant le soleil se coucher est une enchantement. Le prix est justifié

Everything starts with a coffee on a piece of zinc in the morning before going on a hike. Not just a quick coffee, but a coffee with a smile which led to a casual discussion with Sandrine, the owner. We were so well received that we decided to come back for lunch after our hike. It was a no brainer because we hadn't booked and the restaurant was packed because of the village festivals. However, we found a small table and we feasted on regional products, Banka trout, piperade, a casserole of fresh vegetables with a magnificent view of the mountains. Let’s talk about service. Attentive and passionate staff who don't just bring plates but who don't hesitate to talk with customers. We'll definitely come back, because you don't find many places like Maison Bonnet these days.

Une très belle et très bonne adresse, nous avons réservé pour le midi, personnel agréable et souriant, repas en terrasse avec un très beau soleil. Apéritif maison à prix très raisonnable 4€ Menu terroir à 28€ entrée plat dessert Nous avons passé un excellent moment. Piperade basquaise et poireaux vinaigrette Truite fumée de Baigorry et paleron de veau Gâteau basque et crémeux café et mousse tiède chocolat. This is the second time we have come to eat at this restaurant. We enjoyed ourselves every time. The welcome is warm and the service is careful and fast. Not to mention the magnificent view. Thank you to your entire team.

A hotel that is also the heart of Itxassou. Comfortable rooms, beautiful view of the Pyrenees, peace and varied and abundant breakfast. Really very good restaurant

We ate at this restaurant with our children aged 1 and 4. We were very well received. I think this is one of the rare times where the staff made sure the kids didn't wait to eat, and the food was excellent. The staff really takes care, I highly recommend, it has become so rare...
