By far the best food we’ve had on our trip around Europe in the past 2 weeks. Arriving at the restaurant itself at night through the vineyards alone was already a uniquely fun experience. Their braised ham was cooked to absolute perfection(well worth the extra wait required), the black angus steak was also juicy and perfectly flavoured… If this was located in a touristy part of town they’d have 2 hour lineups for sure, but I sure am glad that this is a hidden gem.

The best surprises are often the ones you stumble upon by chance.
Discovered on my way back from the Colmar market, trying to escape the tourist traps and crowds. A lovely time spent enjoying traditional home-style cooking and professional, efficient service.
Looking forward to returning next time.

A pleasant restaurant located in the heart of the Alsatian vineyards.
A quiet restaurant away from the city, perfect for enjoying the terrace on sunny days 😀
Generous, delicious homemade dishes, well-served and presented.
On Sunday evenings, come try the tartes flambées, which are excellent! Both the savory ones and the sweet apple and cinnamon one 😍

My wife and I have been regular customers for several years. In fact, many of our customers are regulars, which says it all! We look forward to seeing the owner every time, always attentive and attentive to each individual, and to enjoying the chef's generous and flavorful cuisine, all in a cozy and unique setting.

We ate very well; the menu was varied and the terrace was well shaded. The dishes were generous, especially the excellent "bouchette à la reine" (queen's appetizer). Go all the way to dessert; it's worth it!

Tucked away in the vineyards, accessible via narrow roads, this gem awaits, even if you ignore the no-entry restrictions. The food was delicious (we were there on a Sunday, and the only option was tarte flambée, freshly baked at your table). On other days, there's a la carte menu. The staff could have been a bit friendlier. Reservations are recommended.
