Tasting menu with wine pairing option. Pleasant dining room, attentive service, I found the sommelier very engaging; you can feel his passion for his work! We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to the restaurant. The dishes were delicious, beautifully presented, and expertly crafted.
However, we were uncomfortable with the aggressive manner in which the waiter spoke to the young apprentice who had followed him to listen to the menu presentation. This tarnishes the restaurant's image, which should be committed to passing on excellent culinary skills with respect and kindness.

Ever since I was little, Chartron has been our family restaurant for big news and special occasions. I've always cherished wonderful memories of it.
So, it was only natural that I chose to invite my partner there for his birthday to introduce him to this iconic place.
We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves from beginning to end; the presentation and flavor of the dishes live up to their reputation!
However, I was disappointed with the service. The waiters seemed rushed, were not very friendly or welcoming, and the person presenting the dishes didn't speak French very well, so we couldn't understand them... That's our only complaint. The service isn't what it used to be.
