A vibrant and talented owner who takes excellent care of her customers. What a warm welcome! The cuisine is delicious, fresh, original, and authentic. Go without hesitation and with your taste buds wide open; it's well worth the trip. A huge thank you to you, Madam, in the dining room and to you, Sir, in the kitchen.

I'd give it a 7 out of 5. First of all, it's French cuisine, but with Malaysian and Indonesian influences. Don't be alarmed, it's full of French people who come back again and again. The fish stew (sea bass) is spectacular. Truly spectacular. It's a small, intimate space, not particularly idyllic (you can't see the river, it's next to the road and a parking lot...), but they manage to make it feel that way. The best experience of the trip (this one and others), without a doubt. The Nem, which I hadn't had in a while and was eager to try, was above average, but it's a Nem (perhaps it surprises you more if you haven't tried it before). The wines were very well chosen. The staff, especially the owner (especially her), were spectacular; you can tell he's "her son." They make you feel at home, welcomed, like one of the family (I went alone). I highly recommend the whole experience. Eating isn't just about the food, and here everything comes together perfectly. Update: I went back. The curry is incredible (a little spicy for some). When I saw the samosa there, I thought, "Why?", but it fits perfectly. The chicken was PERFECT. The combination was magnificent. I thoroughly enjoyed myself and let out some noises not suitable for children. This little restaurant is an exceptional find within a world-renowned (French) culinary scene, which has become somewhat repetitive in the last 20 years (at least when visiting towns in the south). This small restaurant offers a fusion, a reinvention, that is truly worth experiencing. Congratulations to the chef and the front-of-house management. Don't miss it!

Exceptional food, would highly recommend the garlic Emmenthal mussels as a starter, steak was incredible with one of the best sauces I've ever had in the black pepper sauce. The chocolate fondant was amazingly moist and the lemon meringue was as fluffy as a cloud. The best aspect was the service, as the joint- owner Rachel was so lovely and the nicest person to talk to. The atmosphere was homely, and as a family of 4 we felt right at home. The price was very good value, as 3 courses for 4 people and wine and soft drinks came to under 140 Euros. Truly one of the best meals I've ever had.

What an experience! We stopped by quite by chance, and we never imagined we'd be so delighted. A warm and friendly welcome, and the dishes were incredibly refined. Their ratatouille was exceptionally smooth, and the sea bass with turmeric was simply amazing. My only regret is not having a bigger stomach; otherwise, I would have savored the experience longer. One thing is for sure: on our next visit to Bize, we'll definitely be booking a table at Chez Jean Marc.

After visiting the market in the charming village of Bize-Minervois, we had lunch here and it was delicious! The portions were generous and the service was perfect! The caramel pork was excellent! We had a wonderful time :)

A romantic dinner on the terrace one summer evening. The welcome was warm, the service impeccable. A very good restaurant serving high-quality Asian food… The lemon tart is delicious. I highly recommend this place. Well done to the team!
