Restaurant Chez Romain sur Saint-Aunes

We have lived in St Aunès for 8 months and we really like going to eat at Romain. The boss is welcoming, dynamic, always in a good mood and takes great care of his customers. Home cooking, very good and very generous, really reasonable price. This is our new “canteen”. We recommend to our friends from neighboring villages because it really deserves these ratings. Thank you Romain for your kindness, and see you soon.

Excellent experience! The steak was of excellent quality and a substantial size (+300g) for a reasonable price (19€90) + home fries. Friendly owner 2 (!) digestives offered per person in addition to the one ordered...

A very warm welcome, well-stocked plates, quality products. We had a great time and enjoyed the boss's Corsican accent. In rainy weather, it added a ray of sunshine and a bit of good humor. To recommend and to do again.

Just perfect. The restaurant has a backyard, where the sun comes out at 12, very pleasant. The meals are very generous, you get what you pay for. And what can I say about the best: the service! Only laughs, frank talking and a good atmosphere 🤌🏼 I highly recommend, I will make it my canteen

We saw all the reviews that mentioned the owner, Eric, and he didn’t disappoint. The food was also so good even though it seemed sketchy… as Eric was the host, waiter, and cook all in one. This spot is fantastic and a little hole in the wall. Eric spoke zero English but entertained us and helped us figure out the menu. We were laughing so hard our sides hurt and we ate so much and were highly satisfied. A perfect spot if you get the chance to go through st Augnes

Nous avons passé un super moment "Chez Romain" sur la terrasse couverte et ce jour-là ensoleillé. 🌞 L'accueil a été chaleureux et dynamique. Le service rapide (une journée avec pas beaucoup de monde), un 24 décembre. Les assiettes étaient généreuses, et bonnes. 🥘🧆 Les prix sont comme ceux qui se pratique aujourd'hui, dans un restaurant de cuisine française traditionnel classique. Je recommande ce restaurant, pour les gens qui cherche sur St Aunès, c'est celui qu'il faut choisir. 👍🍾
