My girlfriend and I ate there this afternoon, it was delicious! I highly recommend the galette du terroir, it was generous, and the Vouvray sauce to go with it was amazing!

I don't know what was more enjoyable: the delicious food (with a special mention for the cherveny and the salted caramel crêpe) or the highly professional service. In short, an experience not to be missed for lovers of good food with excellent value for money, all wrapped up in truly impeccable service.

Wonderful food! Staff allowed us to practice our French. Super friendly and helpful. Can’t wait to come back. ***Came back two years later and it is still great. This time we tried the desserts and the escargot, as well as a bottle of wine… still so good!***

The galette I ordered was delicious. For dessert, the waiter recommended an excellent option. The service was spectacular throughout. Definitely a place I recommend.

Excellent restaurant. We were welcomed as a party of 12, including 3 very young children and 2 babies. The service was impeccable, the staff were warm and very understanding. We were served quickly and everything was delicious. I highly recommend it.

Right at corner of the Main Street leading to the Château d'Amboise. Indoor n outdoor seatings available. Nice food and reasonably priced. Staff speak English and are attentive and polite.

Excellent experience! Everything was perfect: kudos for the quick and very friendly service, the galettes and crêpes were delicate, delicious, and made with quality ingredients. I particularly recommend the vegetarian galette.

18/01/2026: Excellent, peaceful, with only fresh, homemade products; we had a lovely afternoon tea. Really great, and the gourmet tea for €10 is something I highly recommend.
30/10/2025: With only one tiny café/brasserie open and packed inside Clos Lucé, we were forced to venture out again, all six of us, to find somewhere to eat. We didn't have to go far: just across the street was Le Maître d'Art. We pushed open the door without knowing what to expect. A warm welcome awaited us, and we were quickly seated. The menu was short: a good sign indeed... and the dishes were well-prepared and delicious. The service was quick. We received a generous and delicious afternoon tea, the likes of which I'd never had before. I commend the owners of this establishment for being so welcoming, unpretentious, and excellent.
