A very good, welcoming and warm little restaurant with good, simple and fresh cuisine, and very friendly staff. Good value for money.

Sunday, December 28, 2025 Family atmosphere, warm welcome. We were seated for lunch at 5 pm, with our 35 kg dog who even had his own bowl of water! Excellent value for money!!! We will be back

The historic reviews do not reflect my experience here. Very friendly staff, attentive and polite. The food was excellent and given the ‘tourist prices’ in the area this was very reasonable. The lunch set menu was €18 for three courses; the food was excellent. Don’t go off the older reviews, give it a go, you won’t be disappointed.

A restaurant with a very inviting terrace, and the food was good. But it was a bit disappointing because we paid €26 for the menu, and the foie gras starter and the duck with mushrooms for the main course were particularly sparse. We thought there was very little food for the price… We were left hungry.

18/02/2026: I had onion soup, cassoulet and dessert fromage and glass of wine. All of this was nice, definitely didn't deserve so low score. I was afraid I would be eating something totally disgusting after reading the opinions, and it was the only open restaurant in carcassonne. Then when I received my plate it was OK. It wasn't the best food I had in my life but also wasn't the worst so them opinions are a little bit too harmful.
15/02/2026: I find it hard to believe so many bad reviews… we thoroughly enjoyed our meal and the staff were very friendly. The service was quick and the food was good. They didn't charge us extra for water. The price for a two-course menu plus dessert is €17.50. A very competitive price compared to the surrounding area. Everything was fine and we were happy!
