My husband and I shared a Valentine's Day meal here; everything was excellent, beautifully presented, and the service was top-notch—the staff were very friendly and welcoming. We highly recommend it.

The hotel is well-located for visiting Charlieu. The food is impeccable, meticulous, and original. The service is friendly, helpful, and efficient. Perhaps the only downside is that the rooms are very clean but average in size. Oh, and I forgot, the breakfast is carefully prepared with local products, which isn't common in hotels.

02/04/2026: In the heart of Charlieu, near the abbey, don't be put off by the unassuming storefront. The interior is pleasant and welcoming (with the option of an outdoor terrace at the back of the restaurant). Several set menus are available. We chose the "relaxed menu," and everything was truly delicious and generously portioned, from the appetizer to the dessert. The service was efficient and prompt. The restrooms were spacious and very clean (my bonus for the end, which sometimes spoils the experience... not here at all). I highly recommend it.
01/04/2026: Nice decor, the food is very good, however the portions are unfortunately very small...
