02/04/2026: In the heart of Charlieu, near the abbey, don't be put off by the unassuming storefront.
The interior is pleasant and welcoming (with the option of an outdoor terrace at the back of the restaurant). Several set menus are available. We chose the "relaxed menu," and everything was truly delicious and generously portioned, from the appetizer to the dessert. The service was efficient and prompt. The restrooms were spacious and very clean (my bonus for the end, which sometimes spoils the experience... not here at all). I highly recommend it.

14/02/2026: My husband and I shared a Valentine's Day meal here; everything was excellent, beautifully presented, and the service was top-notch—the staff were very friendly and welcoming. We highly recommend it.
10/09/2025: The hotel is well-located for visiting Charlieu. The food is impeccable, meticulous, and original. The service is friendly, helpful, and efficient.
Perhaps the only downside is that the rooms are very clean but average in size. Oh, and I forgot, the breakfast is carefully prepared with local products, which isn't common in hotels.

15/01/2026: The welcome was cold, the restaurant didn't look like the photos, we waited 10 minutes, found hair in our food, and the young cook was serving in uniform in the dining room. The waitresses were drinking during service and were unprofessional. I don't recommend this restaurant.
24/12/2025: And what a fantastic place it is! No frills, but incredibly efficient. The food is delicious, very generous, and inexpensive—a set menu at €16.50 including coffee and wine. The andouillette sausage with mustard sauce was as long as a June day, while the Lyonnaise salad was perfectly prepared. The desserts are quite good, as is the wine.
In short, go there immediately! I haven't seen a place like this in years!

23/12/2025: Takeaway pizza is getting worse and worse every month! Pizzas with hardly any toppings!!! €54 for four pizzas of dough and Gruyère cheese? No thanks!!! We used to be regulars, but this is the last straw!!! Next time, we'll go somewhere else!!!
24/10/2025: We ate very well, the owner and his employee are very kind and efficient: served very quickly and the atmosphere of the room upstairs is very cozy. I recommend!
