Always a great experience. The food is good, the cooking is just a touch less salt and it would be perfect for me. Nevertheless, I recommend the restaurant for its service, good wines, and generous portions.

We had lunch using a "gourmet menu" gift certificate. The dishes were very good, made with high-quality ingredients. The accompanying drinks were excellent. Mr. Kalt doesn't skimp on quality. The service was excellent; kudos to the young woman who served us—she was very witty and elegant. We also appreciated being welcomed by Mr. Kalt. A very enjoyable experience.

L'estaminet des Bords de L'ill

23/07/2026: Room booked for a stay at Europa-Park, located about 30 minutes away by car. The location is ideal: everything is close by in Erstein, especially shops. As for the room, it's adequate for the price. It's clear they've tried to modernize it, but a few improvements are still needed, particularly regarding the blankets, which are outdated and uncomfortable. The rest is satisfactory, although the bed could be a bit bigger. The bathroom is quite modern. The main drawbacks concern cleanliness: the room hadn't been dusted, and we saw three spiders in three nights. This is definitely something that needs improvement. Despite this, I recommend this establishment for its excellent value for money, its convenient location, and its friendly and welcoming staff.

24/04/2026: The daily special was excellent; you absolutely must stop by. During the week, the service (Sonia) is quick and very friendly. I highly recommend it.
