Lovely hotel and the rooms are fine relatively to what you pay. However, the reception, what a terrible attitude and the willingness to help is less than 0.

Excellent restaurant: fresh and tasty products, sometimes unexpected but always successful combinations, attentive service, pleasant surroundings. I will return with pleasure.

Great location if you plan to visit Nausicaa: it's right across the street!
The rooms are comfortable, very well soundproofed and the food is very good (small downside on breakfast).

Very pleasant place in an ideal setting. We had 2 excellent days. Pleasant staff, restaurant with impeccable service and cuisine that I like. Well done to the chefs and their team. Very good breakfast with a very friendly welcome. We recommend 1000%.

We stayed for one night at the Hôtel de la Matelote.
We were lucky enough to have a room with a sea view and it was a feast for the eyes.
The mattress is super comfortable but the big duvet during this month of August with this heat was not necessarily necessary, a simple sheet would have been enough.
Cleanliness was there. The reception staff were very understanding and welcoming.
The hotel is located right opposite the Nausicaa, making it ideal for being the first on site when visiting the aquarium.

Vraiment top, tout les plats étaient vraiment excellent du début à la fin la qualité et la quantité (moi qui soit très bon mangeur) étaient aux rendez vous.Ainsi que les vins qui accompagnait les plats.
Le service était top mais par contre les plats étaient servi trop vite pourtant on l'a signalé a plusieurs reprises d'ou mon 4/5, dommage ça été le seul couac pour le reste allez y les yeux fermés.

Très bonne table gastronomique !!
Nous y avons dégusté le menu des saveurs, avec vins sélectionnés avec passion et goût par Mathieu.
Un très bon moment et d’excellents produits sublimés par le chef.
Nous recommandons sans condition.

Perfect overnight stay at La Matelote! We enjoyed every minute from a very helpful and friendly check-in, to a beautiful, spacious and clean room, and not to forget our amazing meal in the evening. The staff were very attentive and patient with our large group.... we didn't feel rushed, and nothing was too much trouble. I wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy the spa and other amenities. We will certainly be back soon!
