Definitely the best place to eat tarte flambée in Colmar. You have to book in advance because, like the other restaurants, it fills up quickly, but the waiter is very friendly and attentive, the service is simply wonderful, and the atmosphere is very welcoming.

La Soï is a small, cozy little place where they specialize entirely in tarte flambée… and how! What you see is what you get: a warm, cozy bar with high and low tables, people relaxing at the bar, and an extremely charming host who caters to everyone's every need. The tarte flambée was delicious and left us wanting more. The recommended dry Riesling was also excellent. We're so glad we stopped in and will definitely be back!

I recommend making a reservation; it's very small and fills up quickly. Luckily, I was alone and managed to get a table at the bar. The place is so cozy and traditional. Their tarte flambée is AMAZING, the best I've ever had. Definitely a place you have to visit if you're in Colmar for a few days!

I loved the atmosphere. I loved the place. The service was top-notch. The food was delicious – the recipes were amazing (the pepper banger was fantastic). Great beers to go with it 🤩 Thank you for this wonderful time.

We had a wonderful time at this restaurant. The tarte flambée is very original; even as Alsatians, we were surprised and won over. The ones with Tomme cheese are excellent. Highly recommended!

Charming place. Very friendly staff. If you're going for dinner, you must have a reservation as they're only open from 7 to 9 pm. It's best to book the day before. The signature dish is similar to a very thin pizza. It's easy to eat and not heavy. Highly recommended!

The best tarte flambée in Alsace. We had to queue, but it was worth it. The Munster, goat cheese, and garlic tarts were all excellent. The owner was incredibly friendly and spoke Spanish. The menu is also in Spanish. We ordered a Gewürztraminer "Domaine Steiner" which was superb. We ended up buying two bottles.

26/11/2025: We had a very pleasant time at the painter's studio. I don't understand the comments mentioning a succession of dishes lacking warmth. We tasted the chef's skill in every dish, right down to the final petit fours, which were simply excellent. Beef with wild garlic, wild garlic butter—I couldn't have asked for better. The little gnocchi that accompanied the beef were delicious. The wine by the glass was indeed very expensive... But despite that, it was absolutely flawless.
21/11/2025: What an evening to remember we took the 7 course meal one after the other came perfectly balanced dishes in perfect timing giving enough time to let the previous dish sink in and the conversation to develop and exactly when we were ready the next perfect dish appeared all coupled with excelent wines to complement We strongly recommend

16/01/2026: What a lovely find this place was. Fairly small and cozy, but very nice atmosphere. The waiting staff were absolutely lovely, very friendly and spoke English. They took their time to explain the menu thoroughly to us, all of which was delicious. 3 options for starters, mains and desserts, so not an overwhelming choice, but somewhere that focuses on quality over quantity. All courses were delicious, but I particularly enjoyed the giant profiterole dessert! Thank you for such a wonderful evening
08/01/2026: We had lunch for 23 euros per person (starter + main course or dessert + main course). Everything was very good, only the lentil stew was more like an appetizer, not a main course. In general, the portions could be a little bigger and more generous. But all in all, the service, interior and food are top notch.
