Restaurant La Verrerie sur Gaillac

Superb place right in the center. There is a family spirit and a lot of calm there. The rooms are spacious and the view of the park is very pleasant. The welcome and service are focused on customer well-being. Our little dog was accepted which is very important to us. The meals are refined and full of pleasant surprises. Great unforgettable evening for my mother-in-law's birthday. Our waitress took great care with perfect knowledge of the menu, small candle and music for dessert. From the aperitif to the dessert everything was excellent.

The restaurant offers divine cuisine in a very pleasant setting. The food was delicious from start to finish. I can't find any fault with the dishes that were offered, as the menu was perfect. You would have thought that the proportions were a little meager, it is true, but as these are rich and well prepared products, this is not felt at the end. The vegetables were crunchy and glazed, the accompaniment was not just there to “accompany”, but was an integral part of the dish. The young sprouts added acidity and a refreshing note to the dish. The chef even prepared a special menu for me without animal products, which was appreciated. The presentation of the dishes is thoughtful and very pretty. Beyond the kitchen, the establishment's staff is pleasant and helpful. The service was smooth, well managed. The welcome was warm. The dining room has an original decoration, with fairly dark walls which contrast with the light from the large windows. Overall, the establishment seems to be tastefully decorated while remaining simple, without going too rural, which could have been overused in this countryside context. It is a peaceful setting and there is also a very pleasant terrace. I can only recommend the restaurant, I have rarely enjoyed a dish so much. I only tested the restaurant, I cannot give my opinion on the rooms and the hotel service.

We had dinner last night with two friends; we are locals but this was a first for us! We had a blast! A charming setting sheltered from noise and decorated in stone and greenery with a neat interior. The cocktails were very good, as was the wine; Refined and well-chosen flavors; A special mention for the fig larded with Roquefort as a starter and the sea bream as a main course as well as the peppermint digestive... See you soon !

Reservation for 3 nights, positive points: the very decent breakfast with good fresh produce, the grounds (the magnificent bamboo grove, the swimming pool, the park...), the restaurant room with a beautiful decoration. Negative points: the room. There was already an error when sending the reservation link, zero soundproofing, mold stain on the ceiling hidden by a sheet of paper (photo), the bathroom not separated from the bedroom (a simple curtain could do the case), cleaning to be reviewed (I found a disposable razor used in the shower), on the other hand the small terrace is very pleasant. Regarding reception, you often have to wait at reception; exterior lighting in the evening non-existent to access the gate to reception when you are on foot.

Very good from start to finish. We had lunch at midday enjoying the shaded terrace. The dishes were perfect, starters, main courses and desserts, a set price of 19€, frankly there is nothing to say! The service was also very pleasant, discreet and professional. We will not fail to return to “La Verrerie” for our next stay in this beautiful region. Maryse and Didier

The setting is just magnificent, the staff friendly and the service professional. The dishes offered are delicious, tasty (especially the perfect egg) and very well presented. This place deserves to be highlighted more by, for example, jazzy aperitif concerts because this setting lends itself readily to it! I recommend without worries!!
