10/08/2026: We enjoyed the weekly menu at this restaurant.
The value for money is excellent, and the service was good too.
The area outside is quieter than the center of Gaillac (fewer cars and people).
Unfortunately, inside the restaurant, there was quite a bit of noise from a group of people who seemed to think they were the only ones there…
I think the place is better suited to groups of 2 to 4 people, given the size of the restaurant. It's rather small, almost intimate.
05/08/2026: The servers are very friendly, no complaints there. The problem lies with the food, which isn't of a very high culinary standard.
If you're looking for a truly excellent restaurant, this isn't the place for you, but if you just want a casual meal, it's perfect.

22/07/2026: I rented several kegs of beer from La Berlu for an event, and everything went perfectly. The team was very welcoming, helpful, and offered excellent advice. The beers were superb and a hit with all my guests. The equipment was top-notch, and the organization, from booking to delivery, was simple and efficient. A big thank you for your professionalism; I will gladly return and recommend La Berlu without hesitation!

22/07/2026: I wanted to tell you about a little gem I discovered in Gaillac during my business trips. Every time I arrive in this charming town for work, I absolutely have to stop by Fernand's for a meal.
Honestly, the service is impeccable and always with a smile, which is so rare in restaurants these days that it's really worth mentioning! You immediately feel welcome; it's a real pleasure.
And let's talk about the food: the dishes are authentic and homemade, a true delight for the taste buds. I wholeheartedly recommend these delicious dishes; they're so good you practically eat them with your mouth open! It's truly the perfect place for a gourmet break when you're in the area.
If you ever find yourself in Gaillac, don't hesitate to make a detour to Fernand's. I'm sure you won't be disappointed!

30/08/2026: A disaster! I've known this establishment since it opened and used to go there regularly because it was my favorite restaurant.
The choice of appetizers was inappropriate for the season: a choice between liver and foie gras ballotine!
Main courses: a default choice (we avoided the hamburger!): a completely dried-out Milanese veal cutlet that looked like a slice of ham between two thick layers of indigestible breading. Side dish: potato chips!
Dessert: profiteroles: tasteless cold chocolate and equally tasteless vanilla ice cream loaded with ice crystals.
The chef's comment: instead of expressing regret, he said, "There are only two of us instead of eight." In short, what's going on?
25/08/2026: It's a restaurant I hadn't been to for several years; it used to be a revamped and inventive bistro-style restaurant. My last experience was very disappointing; while the wine selection is still interesting, the menu lacks originality, the food is quite heavy, and it's still rather expensive.

We’re regulars here for takeaway and it never disappoints. The food is genuinely authentic Thai street food — packed with flavour and always freshly prepared. The portions are generous for the price, and everything we’ve tried has been consistently delicious. If you’re craving proper Thai food, this is the place. One of our favourite spots in town.

20/08/2026: What a delightful surprise this restaurant was, found by our AI! A very warm welcome, dog-friendly for Alfy, in an unexpected location, and excellent food – try the shredded lamb! Top-notch service, truly, and lovely staff. We were planning to have lunch in Albi and were looking for something other than a tourist trap. We're so glad we extended our journey; the locals are thrilled! Highly recommended.

09/08/2026: This restaurant is very expensive for someone who eats very little, and there's no option other than the all-you-can-eat buffet. The food is mediocre, and the hygiene is questionable. I ended up with food poisoning from undercooked frog legs and expired chicken, and who knows what else... I was sick for 11 days. I won't be going back.

15/04/2026: I rarely use Google to leave reviews, but La Verrerie restaurant never disappoints me, whether for personal or business meals. It's always excellent value for money, in a superb setting right in the city center. I always go there with complete confidence because their vegetarian dishes are fantastic, thank you!
09/04/2026: We had a lovely stay here while searching for our wedding venue. The setting is truly beautiful – the views over the verrerie are stunning, and the grounds are peaceful and spacious. The outdoor areas are a real highlight, with a large pool, gazebo, and unique bamboo trees that add a special charm to the property.
We also had dinner on-site, which was excellent. The chef adapts the menu seasonally, and the food felt fresh and thoughtfully prepared. The dining space is lovely, especially the outdoor terrace. Breakfast was equally enjoyable, with a generous buffet and a great mix of options, including hot items like freshly cooked eggs.
There are 14 bedrooms on site, which are simple but comfortable and perfectly adequate for a short stay. That said, the rooms would really benefit from some updating and attention to detail. For example, many rooms have a shower separated only by a curtain rather than a proper door, and ours could have used a bit of paint touch-up and a deeper clean.
Overall, it’s a beautiful venue with a lot of potential. With some refurbishment and modernisation of the rooms, it would be truly exceptional.

22/11/2025: We relied on the positive reviews about the quality of the pizzas, but we were very disappointed. The taste was overwhelming: too much Gruyère cheese, tomato sauce, and cheap ham. Ultimately, it tasted quite mass-produced. Perhaps we just caught them on an off night...

16/08/2026: We arrived for lunch without a reservation (4 children). We were told there would be "a bit" of a wait, which was normal! The problem is that "a bit" turned into "a lot," and our orders arrived incomplete or mixed up... The duck breast was overcooked, the salmon fillet undercooked. If you have children or are on a tight schedule, avoid this place.
16/08/2026: A waiter with curly hair and an earring was very unpleasant and spoke rudely to the customers; a waitress even announced that they stopped serving coffee at 6 PM.
I'm not quite sure what to think of this place.

20/06/2026: I discovered this restaurant, voted best brasserie bistro of 2026, so I went there out of curiosity. Located in Gaillac, not far from Toulouse, I had a wonderful time. I ordered an entrecôte, a very nice cut of meat, and everything was truly delicious. There's also a great selection of beers and wines, which is a real plus. The video projector and two televisions were showing the World Cup matches, creating a fantastic atmosphere. The beautiful setting, with its view of the square, really adds to the charm of the place. A very enjoyable experience at a highly recommended spot.
