10/08/2026: We enjoyed the weekly menu at this restaurant. The value for money is excellent, and the service was good too. The area outside is quieter than the center of Gaillac (fewer cars and people). Unfortunately, inside the restaurant, there was quite a bit of noise from a group of people who seemed to think they were the only ones there… I think the place is better suited to groups of 2 to 4 people, given the size of the restaurant. It's rather small, almost intimate.

05/08/2026: The servers are very friendly, no complaints there. The problem lies with the food, which isn't of a very high culinary standard. If you're looking for a truly excellent restaurant, this isn't the place for you, but if you just want a casual meal, it's perfect.

22/07/2026: The beer and lemonade were perfect and very much appreciated at our son's wedding. The service was excellent, and the staff very friendly. However, I was very disappointed with the reusable cups. I bought 250 of them, thinking they were new. This was not the case at all. We had to wash them all the morning of the wedding, which was definitely not planned... So, I assumed they were returnable. We washed them all again to return them, but they weren't taken back. It's a waste.

22/07/2026: I wanted to tell you about a little gem I discovered in Gaillac during my business trips. Every time I arrive in this charming town for work, I absolutely have to stop by Fernand's for a meal. Honestly, the service is impeccable and always with a smile, which is so rare in restaurants these days that it's really worth mentioning! You immediately feel welcome; it's a real pleasure. And let's talk about the food: the dishes are authentic and homemade, a true delight for the taste buds. I wholeheartedly recommend these delicious dishes; they're so good you practically eat them with your mouth open! It's truly the perfect place for a gourmet break when you're in the area. If you ever find yourself in Gaillac, don't hesitate to make a detour to Fernand's. I'm sure you won't be disappointed!

31/07/2026: Living in Albi, we don't often have the chance to have lunch in Gaillac. It was quite by chance that the four of us found ourselves seated on the pleasant terrace of the "Vigne en Foule" restaurant. We didn't regret our choice. First and foremost, the welcome was warm and the staff were smiling. This was all the more pleasant as we arrived early, at noon sharp, just as they were finishing up. But we were very well looked after, with great professionalism and kindness. A very good point indeed. As for the food, the chef and his team deserve praise. The cuisine is simple, refined, and delicious, featuring excellent seasonal produce. The food is truly superb. This is certainly a very good restaurant in the center of Gaillac, with a very affordable, generous, and above all, excellent daily menu. And for dessert, the ice cream flavor combinations are very original, not to mention the rum baba, which is absolutely enormous (it's even offered as a "sharing" portion on the menu). I highly recommend it. A big thumbs up!

I'm sorry you were disappointed with the 4-star rating, but even though the veal Milanese was good, it doesn't deserve 5 stars. It was good, but not amazing, so that's why. I wanted to avoid writing this, but since you also feel entitled to criticize our positive reviews, I feel I have the right to respond.

17/05/2026: I only ordered home delivery. The delivery time was respected, and the quality was excellent. Beautiful, generously topped pizzas made with quality ingredients. I tried the Romantica and the Andalouse. I'll definitely try others later.

The welcome is always warm, and you immediately feel at ease. The menu is varied and enticing, and the service is attentive, efficient, and highly professional. Special mention goes to the cuisine: refined, seasonal, and recently enhanced by the arrival of two new chefs, who bring a wonderful touch of freshness! The outdoor setting is just as delightful, with a small pond and plenty of greenery—perfect for a romantic moment or a family outing. An address to remember without hesitation! 😎👍😉

15/04/2026: I rarely use Google to leave reviews, but La Verrerie restaurant never disappoints me, whether for personal or business meals. It's always excellent value for money, in a superb setting right in the city center. I always go there with complete confidence because their vegetarian dishes are fantastic, thank you!

09/04/2026: We had a lovely stay here while searching for our wedding venue. The setting is truly beautiful – the views over the verrerie are stunning, and the grounds are peaceful and spacious. The outdoor areas are a real highlight, with a large pool, gazebo, and unique bamboo trees that add a special charm to the property. We also had dinner on-site, which was excellent. The chef adapts the menu seasonally, and the food felt fresh and thoughtfully prepared. The dining space is lovely, especially the outdoor terrace. Breakfast was equally enjoyable, with a generous buffet and a great mix of options, including hot items like freshly cooked eggs. There are 14 bedrooms on site, which are simple but comfortable and perfectly adequate for a short stay. That said, the rooms would really benefit from some updating and attention to detail. For example, many rooms have a shower separated only by a curtain rather than a proper door, and ours could have used a bit of paint touch-up and a deeper clean. Overall, it’s a beautiful venue with a lot of potential. With some refurbishment and modernisation of the rooms, it would be truly exceptional.

22/11/2025: We relied on the positive reviews about the quality of the pizzas, but we were very disappointed. The taste was overwhelming: too much Gruyère cheese, tomato sauce, and cheap ham. Ultimately, it tasted quite mass-produced. Perhaps we just caught them on an off night...
