13/06/2026: On a motorcycle road trip, we stopped in Gaillac one Saturday at lunchtime and had a wonderful time at Germaine's, where the waiter was super friendly! Refined dishes at a reasonable price 👍🏻 Highly recommended!

11/07/2026: For the first time, we ate outside. I was surprised that on such a sweltering evening, there were so few people on the terrace. The food on the €35 set menu (the complete menu without wine and aperitif) was excellent. We'll definitely go back, but you should hurry there because you won't regret it. It's the best place to eat in Gaillac.

17/06/2026: First time we went to La Berlue and we certainly don't regret it! I'd even say I'll only go there from now on because we found a quality beer—perhaps too good, as we consumed it without any restraint 😉. So, the beer, the tap, was nice and cold and of high quality, and the staff was very welcoming. Hats off to this small, artisanal, and organic business! We should have many more businesses like this. 30/06/2026: We were looking forward to our dinner with you based on a recommendation. Ordered the veal dish and the outside crumb was burnt and the veal so dry inside. I did send it back and the lovely staff had it replaced but your chef should never have sent put the dish as it was. No music when we turned up and there was zero atmosphere to say we were a little disappointed. Staff service was excellent and friendly.

The food is genuinely authentic Thai street food — packed with flavour and always freshly prepared. The portions are generous for the price, and everything we’ve tried has been consistently delicious. If you’re craving proper Thai food, this is the place. The welcome is always warm, and you immediately feel at ease. The menu is varied and enticing, and the service is attentive, efficient, and highly professional. Special mention goes to the cuisine: refined, seasonal, and recently enhanced by the arrival of two new chefs, who bring a wonderful touch of freshness! The outdoor setting is just as delightful, with a small pond and plenty of greenery—perfect for a romantic moment or a family outing. An address to remember without hesitation! 😎👍😉

14/07/2026: The food is very good and the staff is super friendly. We've been there several times and have never been disappointed! Thank you to the whole team for their warm welcome and good humor! A small update on July 14, 2026, because I like to mention both the good and the bad... Tonight, we were told there would be a wait, and I have no problem with that. However, having to ask three times for the sauce on my daughter's flank steak, which is listed on the menu, not having bread with my roasted Camembert despite multiple requests (even though it's also listed on the menu), and having vinaigrette in my salad when I asked for it without, and when I pointed it out, they told me they didn't have time to change it. All this without any compensation at the register. In short, while it used to be one of my favorite restaurants, tonight was a terrible experience...

15/04/2026: I rarely use Google to leave reviews, but La Verrerie restaurant never disappoints me, whether for personal or business meals. It's always excellent value for money, in a superb setting right in the city center. I always go there with complete confidence because their vegetarian dishes are fantastic, thank you!

09/04/2026: We had a lovely stay here while searching for our wedding venue. The setting is truly beautiful – the views over the verrerie are stunning, and the grounds are peaceful and spacious. The outdoor areas are a real highlight, with a large pool, gazebo, and unique bamboo trees that add a special charm to the property. We also had dinner on-site, which was excellent. The chef adapts the menu seasonally, and the food felt fresh and thoughtfully prepared. The dining space is lovely, especially the outdoor terrace. Breakfast was equally enjoyable, with a generous buffet and a great mix of options, including hot items like freshly cooked eggs. There are 14 bedrooms on site, which are simple but comfortable and perfectly adequate for a short stay. That said, the rooms would really benefit from some updating and attention to detail. For example, many rooms have a shower separated only by a curtain rather than a proper door, and ours could have used a bit of paint touch-up and a deeper clean. Overall, it’s a beautiful venue with a lot of potential. With some refurbishment and modernisation of the rooms, it would be truly exceptional.

22/11/2025: We relied on the positive reviews about the quality of the pizzas, but we were very disappointed. The taste was overwhelming: too much Gruyère cheese, tomato sauce, and cheap ham. Ultimately, it tasted quite mass-produced. Perhaps we just caught them on an off night...
