Update – September 2026 As customers for several years (my previous review in August 2022 was glowing), we returned in September 2026 and were unfortunately disappointed. The food is still decent and the dishes are still nicely presented, but the portions have significantly decreased, as other reviews have already pointed out. The most striking difference is the ribeye steak: once generous, it is now almost paltry in comparison. The "goat cheese log purse" appetizer actually contains a small piece of log, not a whole one: the menu description is misleading. The cordon bleu with cheese sauce and the Nutella fondant were good, but lacked the "wow" factor of the past. And all this for the same prices, which makes the portion reduction all the more regrettable. As for the service, it was a pleasure to see some familiar faces, still smiling and polite. However, the new staff isn't as welcoming and attentive as we were used to. In short: smaller portions, the same prices, and a less warm welcome. It's still a decent place, but no longer the exceptional place it once was. We sincerely hope to see L'Anonyme return to its former glory. August 2022: Excellent service, excellent restaurant; the waiters and waitresses are all extraordinarily amazing. It's a very good place to eat well at totally affordable prices.

If you're looking for a halal restaurant where the food is good, this is it! The portions are generous, the presentation is excellent, and above all, I highly recommend it! We've been coming here for years to celebrate all our family events.

An address I've known for years and where I always enjoy returning. The setting is lovely, the food is high quality, and it's always a treat. The servers are truly excellent, always welcoming and pleasant. Every time I'm in Montpellier, it's become a must-stop. A sure bet that I recommend without hesitation.

We've been eating at L'Anonyme for years, summer and winter, and we've never been disappointed… until today. And frankly, we weren't expecting it at all. I ordered a Caesar salad, as usual, the one we know by heart: very little lettuce, no cucumber, no beetroot… nothing like what we were used to. My husband ordered an entrecote steak, and again, a huge disappointment: it was really, really small compared to usual. Normally, it's more than enough for him, but today, not at all. I don't know if it's related to the change of location, but it's a real shame. It was our favorite place in Montpellier, and we went there without hesitation. I really hope it was just a one-off, because it would be a shame to lose the quality that kept us coming back all these years.
