Restaurant Le Loft sur Lons-Le-Saunier

I went there with three friends for a karaoke night. The staff also joined in the karaoke; I found their welcome warm and the atmosphere fantastic!

Not disappointed by the food but the setting is noisy and not very intimate.

One minor drawback: the payment process took too long, which is a shame.

Just one small complaint: one of the waitresses was wearing very dirty sneakers! A shame.

We absolutely loved it. From the ambiance of the dining room to the food and the service, everything was perfect. You can pay with cash, credit card, and also with the JOA Club card. Thank you to the chefs for their wonderful dishes and the beautiful presentation. Thank you to the waitresses for their service and recommendations. I checked their website for menu ideas. The dining room gets noisy when it's almost full. There's always a daily special on the chef's chalkboard, which is both delicious and beautifully presented. Don't hesitate to make a reservation; it's often booked. I highly recommend it, whether you're alone, as a couple, or even in a group. Afterwards, you can go down to the Casino to play, or even come back; it's all in the same building.

As someone who cooks a lot and loves flavorful dishes, I'm often disappointed at restaurants: too bland, too imprecise… and in the end, I don't always have a good time. Well, this time, it had been a very long time since that had happened to me. From beginning to end, it was a real pleasure, to the point that I left with a smile on my face and the feeling of having truly enjoyed a delicious meal. For a starter, an excellent warm goat cheese salad, with real pieces of goat cheese (not just a mass-produced log), accompanied by walnuts and a perfectly balanced sauce. Right from the start, you could taste the care and expertise. For the main course, a cod fillet with a tomato-basil sauce served on a slice of grilled cauliflower: pure bliss. It was delicate, flavorful, the cooking perfectly executed, the seasoning just right. Absolutely nothing to criticize. Special mention also goes to the lamb shank my best friend ordered: I don't usually like lamb, but I found it absolutely delicious. My only regret: not being hungry enough to try the desserts… which is actually a good sign 😉 Add to that unbeatable value for money, elegant presentation, impeccable service, and a fantastic team: everything was in place for a wonderful experience. A huge thank you to the entire team, and a special shout-out to the chef for this flavorful and expertly prepared cuisine. We will definitely be back if we return to your region. Today's meal was delicious, a real treat! An improved fish and chips 😋

Booked online for Saturday evening, reservation was very easy, and there was hardly any wait to be seated. A three-course meal (starter, main course, dessert) for €36, which is very reasonable. The food was exceptionally good; congratulations to the chef! The only slight drawback was the service. It's easy to see that the waitresses and waiters aren't trained for this; there were a few shortcomings, but it's nothing compared to the quality of the meal. We'll gladly return!

We had lunch at Le Loft in Lons-le-Saunier on the Monday after Christmas. The set menu was very good and beautifully presented, which we greatly appreciated. We arrived at 12:30 pm and, around 2:00 pm, the restaurant was getting ready to close. The staff kindly suggested we go to the bar downstairs if we wanted to continue our meal with another drink. However, we hadn't been informed that we needed to have identification to consume at the casino, and we were subsequently directed to the hotel across the street. This made the end of our meal a little awkward, as we would have simply liked to stay in the restaurant to finish our conversation with friends, especially since we were meeting during the holiday season. Better information beforehand would have made the experience even more enjoyable.
