Restaurant le Parvis sur Albi

A very pleasant restaurant, excellent food, and phenomenal service. Excellent value for money. We had been there two years ago, returned, and couldn't have made a better choice.

Polite but unenthusiastic welcome and service. I declined a table offered in the middle of a noisy, crowded room and asked to eat on the terrace because the weather was nice (and the restaurant is called the Parvis...). I was seated on a pretty back terrace, but "against the door," even though the terrace was empty and it would have been entirely possible to have a table overlooking the cathedral (at the front or back of the restaurant). The server seemed so tired from the season that I didn't dare ask for another table. The meal was decent, even if the scallop shell and chocolate mousse weren't homemade. The lamb chop and fries were really very good, generous, well-prepared, and of good quality. The glass of rosé was too expensive for the quality. It's a shame; it wouldn't have taken much to make it good. As a regular in the area during my travels, there is a wide selection of restaurants in the cathedral area; I won't be returning to this one.

There were more than thirty of us in the group, the menu was good, and the local wine was excellent. I noticed the decorations in the upstairs room, which kept all the customers busy as they tried to identify the characters in the various sketches on the walls or paintings. The place was pleasant, and the service was quick and friendly.

Excellent lunch at this restaurant Goat cheese and honey salad, skate with capers, fresh green beans and tagliatelle, and to finish, an excellent tiramisu.

Good restaurant, the daily menu (~€22 for starter, main course, and dessert) is reasonable in terms of price, quantity, and quality. However, the scallops are scallops. The ~€29 menu looks better, looking at some of the dishes! The servers are helpful, even if some are a bit lacking in enthusiasm. We were served very quickly and ate our three courses in just 1 hour. I recommend this restaurant if you're visiting Albi!

Average "homemade" cassoulet? Industrial and tasteless dessert. More like a tourist trap than a gourmet restaurant.

Disappointing....polar welcome...it seems like we'd be better off going elsewhere....40 minute wait for the starter (melon with smoked ham...a mini thin slice)...dried fish without sauce, without butter (skate with capers) served with "plain" tagliatelle and "plain" green beans...just out of the water... Ugly

I just ate a lamb shank in this restaurant and my girlfriend had a roasted duck breast stuffed with foie gras. I highly recommend these specialties, not to be missed, friendly service with a smile.
