Excellent restaurant very well located next to the cathedral. We ate very well there, the menu was very good value for money. Top notch welcome and service. A very good address in Bayeux.

Didn't reserve but still got a nice seat...we took a menu with starter, main course and dessert for 42.5 euros. The choice was not extensive, but the dishes were top notch. Service and reception were super friendly. Fun and culinary experience

Best meal during our 4 days in Bayeux. Every course was perfect. Had a little salmon pate and goat cheese amuse bouche. Shellfish platter entree with several types of fish. Duck with a delicious gravy for plat. Crème brûlée dessert and Calvados finish. Even the bread and butter was delicious. Excellent and helpful service. Do yourself a favor a reserve a table here when in Bayeux.

Nice small restaurant. Everyone homemade and local. Had the chicken and it was delectable. The pomme dessert was absolutely amazing tho! Highly recommend!

Walked in without a reservation. Service was a little slow but they were friendly--possibly a little short on staff the night we were there. The food and wine were excellent, however, so we have nothing to complain about!

La maison blanche

25/06/2025: A unique experience, not for everyone. One of the few places open on Sunday. Owner is friendly, although sometimes engaging in a very sarcastic way. Our food was OK, filet was not a filet, but other cut of meat. Lamb was good, and seafood bisque had split and was only mussels (although still tasty). You have to be prepared for the owner to engage you, it is not a place to go for a quiet meal.
19/06/2025: Terrific place! We were in Bayeux celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary, and this was our first meal upon arrival. The food was wonderful. Everything was fresh and delicious. The owner was very welcoming and warm - made us feel right at home. We shared stories and we enjoyed ourselves thoroughly. I highly recommend this place for a relaxed atmosphere, a good meal and great music too.
