Nice location, very good food and raw materials. The vegetarian chili and creme brulee are delicious. Great choice of Calvados to try. Correct prices. Attentive and kind staff.

We arrived on peak time and were greeted very kindly. They have different menus at different prices. Definitely try the seafood platter. Excellent salmon and fish fillet with vegetables and onion sauce. Clean bathroom. Nice place. Convenient to the historic center of the city.

Classic, unpretentious restaurant

Pleasant staff who know how to adapt to requests. Delicious cuisine, mention for the leg of lamb and the dessert "like a strawberry".

Decent restaurant, but pretty pricey for what you’re getting. Le Pommier is a fine-dining(esque) restaurant, so it is understandable that the food won’t be cheap; still, the dishes were nothing to write home about. I got a cheese platter to start, which was good and had a decent assortment of cheeses. Having said that, there was no indication of what the cheeses were on the menu (apart from the fact that they’re from Normandy). For main I had the breaded cod. The star of the show here was the polenta, which was deliciously creamy (arguably the best polenta I’ve had so far). That said, the cod itself was quite dry and thus, could have done with more sauce. Our table had two waiters throughout the night. One of them was great, the other pretty cold and unfriendly. I believe you can get better bang for your buck elsewhere.

During a month long visit to France, this was the best meal I ate. We walked in off the street at around 7.30pm without a reservation, and they managed to squeeze us in. The service was fantastic and the food amazing. We loved this restaurant!

Elegant restaurant with very friendly service and very close to the cathedral. We took a plate of mixed cured meats and one of typical cheeses, the latter really good. Followed by the beef fillet with pepper, which was well done but nothing sensational and the dimensions were absolutely inadequate compared to the €39 cost of the dish.

Delicious food, lots of choice. Ambience is good and atmospheric. Terrace available. Fine wines and soft Calvados. Prices a bit high for the quantity, but otherwise fine.
