Léa and Martins' warm welcome immediately puts you at ease, and Jenina's varied cuisine captivates with its freshness and creativity. The concept is simple and clever: two visits to the buffet to avoid waste, with a hot dish stand and a cold starter stand offering a beautiful array of flavors. The place is also worth a visit for its exceptional setting: located on the banks of the Tarn River, it offers a magnificent view of the Pont Vieux d'Albi, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The garden, a veritable cocoon of greenery nestled in a bamboo grove, invites both meditation and a gentle afternoon nap. As a bonus, the restaurant hosts temporary exhibitions that further enhance the experience. Currently, a superb collection of sumptuous orchids and paintings add an extra touch of poetry. There’s also a play area for children, so whether you come alone with a book or with company, the ambiance is equally delightful. For me, it’s an absolute must-visit in Albi!
