We were warmly welcomed by Claudine on arrival. The restaurant is run by her and her husband who are both very sweet. We had fondue and it was magnificent. It's a bit pricier than the outside of town but it's worth the extra money. We would definitely go again.

I recommend this restaurant. They are very welcoming. They offered us an aperitif and a digestive. The trout is excellent. The decor is nice and rustic

A simply wonderful restaurant! The dishes are delicious, the service is quality and the servers are friendly. Beautiful ambassadors of the Montagnard spirit! Bravo and long life to the Rustique!

A gem in historic Briancon. The environment is particular, full of old and modern details. At the table you can find logic games with which you can have fun with your guests while waiting to be served. At the entrance there is also a small room where a school classroom with desks and blackboards as in the past has been reproduced. A blast from the past! The managers are very friendly and attentive to service. Good food. The aperitif was offered to us in balloon glasses... Really beautiful! I recommend it because it's really cute.

This is so much more than a restaurant - it's an experience! My husband, mother-in-law and I had a wonderful evening at Le Rustique. We sat down at our table next to the window in an old wooden sleigh and immediately noticed a deck of cards in front of us. We had been playing cards every evening on holiday so far, so were pleased we could continue this tradition at the restaurant after our meal. The staff were so friendly and were there to make sure we were having a good time. At one point during the meal we were given a coin each to pick a song in the duke box. The food was traditional French style and delicious. The atmosphere was fun, relaxed, and had a good family feel to it. Would definitely recommend!

Excellent accueil, très agréable en terrasse. Plats copieux et très goûteux. Viande impeccable ! Apéro offert, c’est élégant 👍 Desserts et vins corrects. 140€ pour 4 avec un repas très complet.( digestifs offerts aussi) Ne pas hésiter.

Un pur moment de Bonheur. Un Accueil incroyable et les Plats ne sont pas en reste... Merci Claudine... Merci Tristan... Et avec le Juke Box et les Pièces de 1 Franc...c'est jubilatoire !!!

07/07/2025: Even though we were unable to book, we were lucky enough to find a table for two on the splendid outdoor terrace: an enchanting corner that made the beginning of the evening even more special. In the meantime, from inside the restaurant the grill was already whispering promises of delicacies… and it kept them all. We started with an appetizer of simply divine escargot: delicate, tasty, perfectly prepared. A real delight. Next, a mixed grill with local meats (pork, lamb and beef), all cooked to perfection, accompanied by a grilled potato and an exquisite crème faisselle fermière à la ciboulette. The mixed salad, also very carefully prepared, completed the dish with lightness and balance. The quality of the local products is evident in every course: excellent choice and impeccable preparation. Unfortunately we were unable to taste the cheeses, but given the selection — also from local producers — we imagine it would have been absolutely worth it. A wonderful experience, in every way. We will definitely be back.

07/07/2025: Thanks to Nicolas and his team for the warm welcome! The atmosphere was excellent, the food delicious, and the service was top-notch for the 11 bikers we were. A place to remember ✌🏻
03/07/2025: Pleasant setting, but service slows down when busy. The server is a bit overly formal, friendly, but his appearance needs to be improved. Dry bread for the fondue, missing a few drops of kirsch would have been perfect to balance it out.
