The food was of very good quality, with a slight issue the day we ate and the service being a little slow, but otherwise I highly recommend this restaurant.

Passing through, we discovered this place where we received a very warm welcome and enjoyed a delicious meal with the €18 set menu, which included an all-you-can-eat buffet starter, an excellent daily special, and a dessert buffet. A real treat! Everything was excellent at a very reasonable price. I highly recommend it. José from Nice

Great atmosphere, pleasant service! But the fries aren't homemade, which is a shame because the dish itself is very good!

A wonderful discovery. Located at the end of a corridor off the main street, this charming restaurant, with its shaded courtyard, impeccable service, and generous portions including homemade desserts, won us over. We will gladly return.

A pleasant restaurant with a selection to suit all tastes and generations. A very relaxed Sunday lunch with my daughter, my wife, and her son in a wheelchair; we were all very well received.

Le Faisan Dore

28/09/2026: It was only for a business lunch, but everything was excellent: the food, the attentive staff, the setting, and the value for money. Absolutely superb!
28/09/2026: Stephane J (1 review) The very warm welcome and the staff showed us to our table on a magnificent terrace overlooking the Saône River, shaded by olive and plane trees. The staff were incredibly attentive, ensuring everything went smoothly. The menu offered a delicious selection of dishes and a perfect daily special at a very reasonable price. We had a lovely time and highly recommend Le Faisan Doré as a must-visit restaurant if you're in Villefranche. We will definitely be back. Sincerely, Patricia
