Restaurant Le Tertre sur Saint-Emilion

Open on google maps, but when you arrive there after driving half an hour, it's closed for vacation. If they don't manage the page, I guess they also don't care about reviews here..

This was a tasting sensation lunch, and should be receiving Michellin stars. The owners were just great with service but especially being hosts. We had some great talks and will return someday from the Netherlands. Thank you very much for this experience.

We were so lucky to have booked this restaurant as the owner was closing for 2 weeks vacation. A beautiful restaurant, spotlessly clean and the service was impeccable. The food was sublime, we had the duck main and cheese dessert both were delicious, the owner recommended a red wine which hit the spot. Please please book this place on your next visits to St.Emillion, and you have to book as it only has 18 covers and will be full.

A wonderful discovery. We received a very warm welcome and excellent advice. The dishes were delicious, the blend of flavors exquisite. We had a very enjoyable time. We highly recommend this lovely restaurant! Excellent value for money.

A true gem in Saint-Émilion! Le Tertre is an absolutely fantastic restaurant, where everything comes together for a memorable experience. From the moment you arrive, you are greeted with great kindness by a warm, attentive, and thoroughly professional team. The owner, the servers, and the chef are exceptionally friendly: attentive, approachable, and always offering excellent advice, without ever trying to upsell you. The food is simply remarkable: cuisine worthy of haute cuisine, refined, generous, perfectly executed, and offered at a very affordable price considering the quality. Each dish is a true delight, with perfectly balanced flavors, beautifully presented ingredients, and meticulous presentation. The setting also greatly enhances the charm of the experience: unique, elegant, and authentic, with the wine cellar right next to the tables and even the option of dining inside it. It's magnificent and gives the place a truly unique atmosphere. We had a superb experience, both culinary and personal. Le Tertre is a rare find, a true gem that I highly recommend to anyone looking to treat themselves in Saint-Émilion. An experience to share without hesitation!

We dined at Bistrot du Tertre on Saturday evening and were charmed by the welcome, the restaurant's atmosphere, and the staff's kindness. The menu was impeccable, original, and delicious. This little restaurant comes highly recommended.

It was a very hot May day, and we went without a reservation. There was an expensive fixed menu for lunch in France, but we went anyway... I guess because we didn't speak a common language, we ended up paying extra for this and that, even a double extra for a main course that wasn't on the menu but was supposedly ordered, and the bill was almost double what we expected... I don't think they had bad intentions; the service staff were polite and helpful, but you need to be careful about extras that aren't on the menu... The food was delicious.

Here we enjoyed a truly exceptional meal, received super friendly and attentive service, and on top of that, we were given a fantastic wine pairing!
