Restaurant Le Tertre sur Saint-Emilion

I had a wonderful time last night at this restaurant. The cuisine was excellent and refined, the ingredients were high quality, the setting was beautiful, and the wine pairing recommendations were spot-on. The welcome was very friendly, everything was perfect for a pleasant meal. An experience to be repeated! Thank you!

The staff are wonderful. The food is amazing with great presentation and colours. The price is very good value. They were very accommodating for my nut allergy, despite the set menu (I did inform them in advance when booking). I really recommend!

Quality of food at La Tertre was off the charts. Felt lucky to get a cancellation and sit outside at one of the terrace tables. Food cooked with care and the very best ingredients.

A real gem of 2026: - A pleasant, air-conditioned, and beautifully decorated dining room - Impeccable service with refined, high-quality cuisine made with carefully sourced ingredients, right down to the non-alcoholic aperitif, the manager's latest innovation, which is well worth trying if you're looking for a surprise. - Dishes as beautiful as they are delicious. We tried to find fault, but no, it was impossible! We'll be back (being from Bordeaux :) ) Thank you again for this wonderful evening!

A superb restaurant, both in terms of the quality of the food and the service. We had a wonderful time and thank the owners for their warm welcome, even with a baby. It was excellent!

Wow! Le Tertre was one of the most memorable dining experiences we’ve had. The food, location, and ambience were incredible. We do a lot of fine dining and Le Terte was truly special with incredible value. We ordered the three course prix fixe which also included a delicious amuse-bouche and gazpacho. We ordered the ratatouille/creamy egg, roast duck foie gras starters annd our mains were the wild duck and sweet bread. It had all the quality and taste of a Michelin starred restaurant without the pretense. The service was impeccable and they provided great wine pairing suggestions. They even gave us recommendations for restaurants for the rest of our time in the area! We will definitely be returning!

A charming little restaurant in the heart of the village. Because it’s small, reservations are highly recommended! We visited for lunch with a group of eight and were delighted to be seated at a large table indoors, which was much appreciated given the 37°C heat outside. From start to finish, Catherine and her team made us feel genuinely welcome. The food was outstanding and felt wonderfully gastronomique, with several delicious amuse-bouches. We also received excellent guidance on the wine selection and, of course, chose local wines. When we particularly enjoyed one of them, Catherine even helped put us in touch with the wine château, which was greatly appreciated. A special mention goes to the dessert Mojito (picture enclosed), something quite unusual, yet wonderfully fresh, light, and absolutely delicious. A memorable lunch experience with warm hospitality, excellent food, and a true taste of the region. Highly recommended!
