What can I say, except that everything is perfect! the welcome is worthy of a starred restaurant, the cuisine skillfully combines the authentic flavors of the Normandy region. In short, go for it, you won't regret it!

Disappointed with the welcome, the setting and the atmosphere but not with the quality of the gastronomic dishes. The waiters are friendly, nothing more, but it is above all the space which is restricted, not bright, like in a corridor with a really dreary decor, noisy and with too artificial lights. The most accessible evening menu is 39 euros without drinks and without cheese unless you add 4 euros.
It lacks cheerfulness and warmth and the setting doesn't match the world and the creativity of the dishes, a real shame.
Ps: the beef cheek is excellent.

It only takes a little thing to change an opinion. The simple and courteous welcome is a good start. The small snacks accompanying the aperitif were tasty. The long-lasting oysters are perfect, the foie gras delicious. It was then that the duos of monkfish and lobster arrived, cooking for too long transformed their flesh into a rubbery substance that the crustacean sauce was not enough to modify the unpleasant taste sensation. Too bad that a delay of probably a few minutes turned this probably succulent dish into a painful mash. The Coteaux d’Auxerre wine was good value for money. The atmosphere and service are professional. We will come back anyway

For us the best restaurant in Houlgate… with unbeatable value for money. An impeccable welcome and service. Loyal to the establishment for more than 20 years, we always go there with great pleasure. Consistency in the quality of the dishes, with seasonal products! Don't miss out on this gem.

déçu par rapport aux commentaires élogieux belle salle tables espacées bon service choix unique pour le menu du jour Me concernant j'ai pris le menu à 39euros l entrée le vitello etait correct par contre la joue de bœuf confite était très gélatineuse quant aux desserts fraises de varaville cela consistait à 2 fraises coupée en deux on aurait aimé plus de fraises. En conclusion par rapport à d autres restaurants équivalents au niveau des prix ( voir mes contributions) nous avons été déçus .
PS le vin et le café sont plutôt chers
