We stopped by one Monday morning for breakfast. The lady who greeted us told us that, exceptionally, they didn't serve breakfast on Mondays. Then, seeing our disappointed faces, she went out of her way to give us delicious bread, jam, butter—in short, we were completely satisfied thanks to her kindness. Bravo and thank you for your exceptional customer service, which is rare these days.

When you see hard-boiled eggs and homemade mayonnaise on the buffet, you know you're in for a good meal. The only slightly steep thing is €20 for the full menu (cheese OR dessert). A starter/main course is €19.

What a pleasure to rediscover this roadside restaurant! The decor, atmosphere, and friendly staff are fantastic, with a large parking lot, excellent toilets and showers, and it's open 7 days a week – honestly, it's a real treat! The restaurant and bar area is top-notch. And to be thorough, the toilets and showers are a bit dated but perfectly adequate. I highly recommend it, and many so-called "roadside" restaurants should take note. THANK YOU

Fantastic team, the likes of which you rarely see, one of the best roadside restaurants in France. When I'm near Valence, I gladly stop by.

Honestly, as they say, truckers are friendly. The staff is attentive and very efficient, maybe even too efficient—you've barely finished your starter or main course before they're ordering the next course, please! 😅 Parking is no problem, even in the evening there's a parking attendant. Although, when 3 or 4 trucks arrive at the same time, it creates a bit of a mess on the N7. But otherwise, nothing to complain about. Looking forward to stopping there again for a bite to eat! 😁

It's great to still find a real roadside diner like Les Châssis. 🚛 A warm welcome, a great atmosphere, simple and hearty food—exactly what you need after a few hours on the road. You can tell the place has history and has kept its roadside spirit. It's becoming increasingly rare to find places like this, so when something's good, it's worth saying. I'll gladly come back next time I'm in the area. 👍

I had lunch at this restaurant twice in four days. The meal was very good. The service was impeccable. The welcome was warm. The value for money was unbeatable. I highly recommend it.

17/08/2026: We discovered this restaurant thanks to friends and had a wonderful evening. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of service, the friendliness of the owners and servers, and a menu featuring high-quality, locally sourced ingredients. For example, I tried the tomato salad, which might seem simple, but on the contrary, the tomatoes were beefsteak tomatoes, peeled, and served at the perfect temperature to appreciate their pure simplicity. In the center was olive oil ice cream and raw garlic croutons. A true delight. The drinks are carefully selected; you won't find this selection everywhere. For instance, I chose a homemade tomato juice served with French chili pepper and organic celery. Excellent. The rest of the menu was just as good. The atmosphere in the square in the evening was particularly pleasant. Thank you very much, and see you soon.
