A wonderful discovery thanks to a gift certificate we received for the holidays. We were lucky enough to be able to have a private room, perfect for a tête-à-tête. The staff is incredibly attentive to its customers. We enjoyed a very generous, beautifully presented, homemade meal served on plates that showcased the dishes perfectly. We'll definitely be back.

We went there for dinner as a couple. We appreciated being able to share the appetizers and thus sample several things (country pâté and rillettes). For our main courses, we had the Toulouse sausage and a fish dish from the daily menu, and for dessert, pistachio crème brûlée and profiteroles (a bestseller). All the dishes were prepared with great skill, presented appetizingly, and were all excellent. The profiteroles were the highlight – absolutely divine. The wine recommendation was also very well done. The service was discreet, attentive, and full of humor – we felt perfectly taken care of. The only slight drawback was the deafening noise in the dining room. A little soundproofing would be much more pleasant. But, well, it's just a minor detail. The prices are quite reasonable considering the quality of the food. In any case, Les Copains d'Abord is always worth checking out!

We come to this restaurant every time we're in Metz. The food is excellent. We started with the charcuterie board to share, then I had beef bourguignon and my partner had lamb shank, and for dessert, a Black Forest cake reimagined as tiramisu. And the staff are friendly. I highly recommend it.

We came for dinner as a party of six and tried five different dishes. All were delicious, generous, and flavorful. A real treat. I highly recommend it!
