Restaurant L'Odace sur Grenoble

My boyfriend and I had a wonderful time at this restaurant. The meal was fantastic, with generous portions, and the staff were incredibly kind, pleasant, and always smiling. Thank you so much for the warm welcome; you can tell everything is done with genuine care and a real desire to please. I don't regret my visit at all.

We had visited L’Odace a long time ago and were curious to rediscover the restaurant. We chose to eat outside, which was actually quite pleasant, as the interior is rather pervasive with cooking smells—perhaps the ventilation system needs improvement. The presentation of the dishes was elegant and quite attractive. The chef was very present in the dining room, dynamic and approachable, while the service was much more discreet. However, we were unfortunately disappointed by the most important aspect: the flavors. They weren't bad, but we found the dishes lacked depth and, above all, didn't live up to the price. For the price, we really expected more effort and enjoyment on the plate. A special mention goes to the bread, which seemed particularly dry, almost stale. Perhaps it had been sliced ​​too far in advance. Overall, it was a decent experience, with a pleasant presentation and a very engaged chef, but a real disappointment regarding the flavors and value for money. We left with the feeling that the dish unfortunately didn't live up to our expectations.

Excellent service. The restaurant overlooks a beautiful, renovated square in Metz. Small dining room and pleasant terrace. It's a shame the dishes are a bit relegated to the background. Should we abandon the choice of fish and seafood in Grenoble?

L'Odace exceeded our expectations, for both food and service. Water arrived with the menus, sharing was encouraged and the food was delicious. Very friendly and helpful service.

A wonderful evening spent with Renée, who seemed to be a regular (and we can see why 😊), the incredibly welcoming and kind chef, and his adorable apprentice. The cuisine was refined and subtle, the ingredients ultra-fresh, and the service impeccable. We highly recommend it and will definitely be back.
