We had a pleasant stay visiting the Jura with friends and family, all on motorbikes. Very good biker relay, great welcome, very good food, in short, this is a place not to be missed.

We spent 2 nights with half board. Simple but clean hotel with a superb view of the Abbey Lake and direct access to go swimming there (pebble beach), well located for visiting the region, shops 5 km away, parking in front of the hotel. Simple and clean room. Very pleasant and enjoyable swimming pool and hot tubs. The meals are very good with fresh and very well cooked products, a small downside for the organization of table service. Varied and fresh breakfast. Calm and relaxation await you.

Magnificent setting - top local cuisine... very good and the plates very well presented - very warm and understanding service staff (we had a dog who was not very easy that day...) I really recommend this restaurant and I will happily return 😃 thank you to the whole team for this beautiful day!

Wir haben mit einer Gruppe von 22 Pax im Hotel übernachtet; das Hotel hat eine schöne Lage den Hinweis, wenigstens die Getränkebestellung aufzunehmen; Monsieur Piot spricht deutsch; Madame Dolies Piot ist sehr nett.e, es gibt einen pool und die Sauna wurde für uns angeheizt; das Problem trat beim Abendessen auf; es dauerte über eine Stunde, bis die Bestellung aufgegeben werden konnten; die beiden Servicekräfte waren hoffnungslos überlastet; sie lkämpften mit dem Kassensystem; der Kellner reagierte sehr unfreundlich auf ; dire Bar machte erst um 20 Uhr! auf; tolle Weinauswahl; Frühstück sehr gut; für die Gruppe hätte man die Tische zusammenstellen können.

Hôtel restaurant très bien situé au bord du lac de l’abbaye. Accueil chaleureux, très bon restaurant où tout est fait maison avec des produits régionaux assiette, très généreuse. Serveurs très agréables et disponibles. On recommande. Et on reviendra.

27/08/2024: Upon arrival, you are seduced by the warm atmosphere of the place: a beautifully decorated interior, combining elegance and simplicity. The menu highlights fresh fish and perfectly prepared fried dishes. The portions are generous, and the flavors are there. Every dish is a pleasure, from starters to desserts. The service is also impeccable: friendly and efficient, with good advice on choosing from the different specialties. It’s the kind of restaurant where we happily return, as much for the quality of the dishes as for the charming setting.

Hotel de l'Abbaye

05/09/2024: Very nice hotel, the food is great and the area is really very quiet, a change of scenery on the edge of the small lake.. the rooms are top notch, a little extra with the heated indoor swimming pool..
03/09/2024: My wife and I recently spent a week at Hôtel de L’Abbaye. Our stay was most pleasant in this establishment. Sandra the extremely friendly receptionist who from your reservation until your arrival will go out of her way to satisfy you. Chef Francis (owner) and his team prepare particularly fine and tasty cuisine, all with fresh market produce. The breakfast buffet won't let you go hungry, as you'll find everything your stomach will enjoy before heading out for a stroll around the lake. The dining room beautifully decorated and decorated with flowers day after day by Michèle (the owner) who from one table to another during the service will be at your disposal to make your meal a very good time and will happily share a few words with you and his humor will more than likely seduce you. The team of servers under the supervision of the always very jovial butler Frédéric will make your meal a very pleasant experience. The rooms will certainly bring you calm and rest thanks to the silence that reigns in the corridors and the maintenance of the rooms, which are perfectly maintained by staff who are as discreet as they are efficient. The private beach with its deckchairs facing the lake and its breathtaking view will allow you to spend long hours in the sun or in the shade of the trees, enjoying good moments of tranquility.
