My wife, Etchegoyen, took me to Pantxua in our youth, and I returned on a pilgrimage! Working for a two-Michelin-starred restaurant, I was pleasantly surprised by the freshness of the fish and, above all, the presentation of the dishes, from the seafood platter to the dessert.
Furthermore, the staff offers excellent advice on the dishes and wine pairings. In short, you can have lunch on the terrace, just 100 meters from the port of Socoa, at a very reasonable price considering the quality of the ingredients.
I was also amazed by the number of long-time regulars who frequent the restaurant.
I highly recommend this restaurant; I will definitely return one evening with friends.

A wonderful meal shared with friends. The food was high quality and expertly prepared; the stuffed mussels were a delight, as was the grilled hake! Everything was delicious! Our lovely waitress, Laurine, was as pleasant, smiling, and attentive as ever! We will definitely be back; it's an excellent place.

A very warm welcome, excellent service, delicious and beautifully presented dishes, and a lovely setting with numerous paintings depicting the marine and agricultural life of the Basque Country. Parking is available opposite the restaurant, and it's very close to the Socoa fort. I highly recommend it.
