Racine(tte) has always been and remains a firm favorite of ours: the food, service and ambiance are exquisite, it would be hard to find another restaurant, near or far, that delivers on all fronts

Whenever we can, since we live 900 km from Lectoure, we stop at Racine's, as it's truly excellent and original. We just have one small comment about the main course we chose, the brandade de morue (salt cod purée), which seemed a little... I wouldn't dare say ordinary, but both visually and in terms of taste. That said, we've been there several times and will definitely return as soon as we're back in Gers.

We stumbled upon this little restaurant while wandering down a side street. We weren't disappointed. We had a very good meal. The welcome and service were excellent.

21/07/2026: Rare are those moments when we allow ourselves a moment of pure pleasure, yet that's precisely the definition of time spent at a restaurant. It's been a long time since I've had such a wonderful experience. We were fortunate to receive a warm welcome and guidance from the chef, one of those rare, passionate employees who made this a truly magical moment. We started with a plate of homemade ham and foie gras, followed by red mullet with peppers and confit pork loin with mashed potatoes. Next came a small tasting plate of the rare sheep's cheese, and then dessert: chocolate fondant (we've never had such delicious ones!) and Armagnac baba. I highly recommend this restaurant, and if you can, ask to see the chef! 😉 See you soon!
