Restaurant Saint Hubert sur Saint-Claude

Hotel with a motorcycle garage. The gentleman at reception took it upon himself to find us a restaurant in town and make a reservation. The breakfast was very good.

The rooms are okay, the shower has a curtain instead of a door, so water splashes out the side, so bring a shower mat. The beds are okay, a bit worn. There's a magnifying mirror in the bathroom. The hairdryer is built-in, the power is okay, but there's no cool setting. What's really great is the light—VERY bright!!! The food seems to be good; we had lasagna, parts of which were practically burnt or impossible to cut. The service is okay.

A very warm welcome, pleasant and peaceful. Excellent bedding. A generous breakfast was also provided. The town center is within walking distance. Beautiful waterfalls to see in the surrounding area.

Perfect, excellent value for money, paid €66 for half-board. Eloi was incredibly accommodating (we arrived 3 hours late due to an accident, without having eaten, and he fed us enough for 9). Everything I expect from a biker-friendly hotel. Top-notch.

The hotel is well-located with a lovely setting and simple, somewhat dated but clean rooms. Unfortunately, the rest doesn't live up to expectations. The €20 meal was disappointing: the starter was drowning in dressing, the rice was very dry, and the fruit salad was far too sweet. As for the €13 breakfast, it's unacceptable: we were told it was a buffet, but we were limited to just one pastry per person because there was practically nothing else. Special mention goes to the complete lack of gluten-free options, deemed "too expensive" by the owner. The staff are friendly but seem overwhelmed, even openly criticizing the lack of resources provided by management. It's a shame because the potential is there, but the value for money is simply not there.

Half-board option chosen. Homemade lasagna, very enjoyable. Breakfast was plentiful and varied. Very professional and efficient service. Secure bicycle parking. I recommend it! The room was very clean and spacious, with a sunny balcony.

The hotel was very clean and comfortable, well located, and the staff were friendly and attentive. Located near the center of Saint-Claude. We took advantage of our stay to visit the waterfalls. A wonderful discovery! We will return.

The overnight package, advertised at €76 on the hotel's website, was charged at €85. The food was subpar and did not live up to the hotel's standards. The meal was mediocre for the price: a portion of tartiflette with three lettuce leaves and a chocolate biscuit for dessert. Service took 15 minutes. The table was set on a worn oilcloth and served with plastic plates in the morning. Poor value for money.
