Honestly, we loved this place. Absolutely nothing to complain about, everything was perfect. The welcome, the meal, the hotel, and the location itself are so beautiful and relaxing. In addition to the exceptional meal, we discovered some excellent wines. I highly recommend it.

Hello dear team, dear guests, and you, Madame Vieira. We owed you a final thank you for your hospitality today at your establishment. How could we not be touched by your thoughtfulness and the refinement of your culinary experience, which we sensed as soon as we walked down your driveway lined with those magnificent trees, a guard of honor of these giants, another "Stairway to Heaven" that led us to the foot of the magnificent tower. The reception area, surprisingly modern for this location, yet perfectly integrated into the setting. So surprising! The friendly staff moving about, a beautifully executed performance, a ballet of these young and attractive people. The house aperitif, a chance to chat in the lounge, exchange ideas, and enjoy conversation while gazing at the distant view. Then came the meal, with its floral, elegant dishes, imbued with a bygone romanticism. Refined flavors, present and joyful. Local, or as Ugolin from the Darmanins valley would say, "lotantiques." You have everything here, the very best that exists, everything that makes you feel good. I stand by this opinion. To those of you who read this, who may have doubts: Go with confidence and let yourself be surprised, moved, loved, and surrender to this somewhat magical and transcendent experience. Never before, until this discovery of Le Couffour, had I experienced such wonderful sensations. We were swept away beyond the stars of French cuisine. Serge Vieira's creative power borders on the divine: the choice of location, the design and construction of the space, the restaurant's interior design, the creation of the tableware, the composition of the kitchen staff, the selection of ingredients, the menu, the wine cellar, the artistic presentation of the dishes, the quality of the service, the warm atmosphere, and Marie-Aude... Serge Vieira has left nothing to chance. When you come to discover this restaurant without preconceived notions, you are captivated, with the feeling of approaching perfection. To complete these impressions of a truly wonderful discovery, one must add the vibrant energy that animated Serge Vieira, that lives on in his life, that we felt throughout the evening, and that continues to resonate within us... it is striking to realize how Serge Vieira managed to create an "absolute" whose essence is nothing less than the soul of the Haute-Auvergne region! Definitely, for Serge Vieira, emotion is not merely culinary.

This restaurant is a must-try; the cuisine is excellent. The welcome is warm, and the staff very friendly. The food is refined and delicate from appetizer to dessert, including a delicious red kiwi dessert. A place with character, run by a woman with character.

A wonderful meal, as usual. So many flavors, such a beautiful setting! And the service was discreet, friendly, and attentive. We will be back... once again.

Definitely good, but the value for money is questionable. For a two-star hotel, I expected better in terms of flavors and discoveries...
