A lovely little restaurant with a friendly atmosphere where you immediately feel the family spirit. The owner and staff are particularly welcoming and attentive. The portions are very generous, sometimes even a little too much, but that's precisely what makes it so charming: hearty cuisine, just like our grandparents used to make. Everything is high-quality and full of flavor. It's without a doubt one of my favorite restaurants, a place I love to share and introduce to my friends and family.

While passing through Schiltigheim, a stop at this restaurant seemed essential to my mother-in-law! And indeed, she was absolutely right. Excellent restaurant, pleasant setting, and delicious, typical Alsatian cuisine! In short, I highly recommend this place.

20/04/2026: With my partner this Saturday. A first for me, not for her. We opted for the set menu with four identical courses and a wine pairing. It was simply perfect. The flavor combinations were surprising and successful, and the wine pairings were very original. Congratulations to the chefs and sommelier. Nothing pretentious, just perfection. Well-organized service and pleasant staff. The interior decor contrasts sharply with the exterior, very cozy. One of the best restaurants in the Strasbourg Urban Community (CUS), I will gladly return.

La cave Profonde

02/02/2026: Restaurant in Schiltigheim. Lovely outdoor terrace. Very friendly waitress. Varied menu, but predominantly Alsatian. Excellent tarte flambée. Dame Blanche (Alsatian dessert) too. Reasonable prices. Pleasant place. Second visit in January 2026. The service is still just as friendly, as is the setting. We opted for the pizzas (2 pizzas for €20). They were classic, no-frills, and good. It cost us €20 including an aperitif, pizza, a glass of wine, and a cappuccino. What more could you ask for? A good address in Schiltigheim, one of the few in this neighborhood that still serves traditional cuisine.
25/01/2026: Pleasantly surprised. Excellent restaurant. Generous and high-quality dishes. Very good food and staff ready to meet your expectations.
