Hello We didn't stay at this hotel, but we ate there twice. Our gîte (self-catering accommodation) is located not far away in Ainhoa, about 2 km away. We were recommended by our hosts. A truly wonderful place where we ate very, very well, and especially homemade food. The specialty is paella made with fresh, high-quality ingredients. A very good menu. (The homemade trout fillet platter. The platter of Basque ham and pâté made with pork raised on their farm. The baby squid and homemade fries. The lamb was excellent. The albacore tuna salad was a delight.) This Logis restaurant is truly recommended; a wonderful discovery in the Basque Country and near the Spanish border. The owner is very pleasant, as are the waitresses, and my mother-in-law is always behind the bar—a truly lovely place. Thank you very much. See you soon. Hello, we arrived on Saturday, May 9th at 1 pm without a reservation, and it was very busy with reservations! The welcome was very friendly, and they managed to find us a table on the terrace for four. 👍 We were won over by the authenticity of the food and service! No frills, traditional cuisine with authentic country flavors. 👌 The dishes were generous and refined. Excellent value for money! 👍 We were taken care of by Jennifer, who was very friendly, charming, and professional! A very pleasant stay, with smiling, competent, and very friendly staff. Excellent location and magnificent view. The room's terrace is spacious. The restaurant was good and offered generous portions. Perfect value for money. The hotel is very well maintained. I would definitely return.

05/05/2026: The hotel is beautifully situated with well kept gardens and a great view of the mountains. Very quiet. The staff team were warm, helpful and efficient. Breakfast was very good and there was great cooking at dinner.

03/07/2026: Sometimes the best Michelin experiences are completely unexpected. While staying at a hotel in the French Basque Country, I discovered that Ithurria, a one-Michelin-star restaurant, was less than 30 kilometres away. One phone call was all it took to secure a table for the very same evening, despite requesting a vegan tasting menu. Set inside a beautiful building dating back to 1657, the restaurant reflects traditional Basque architecture and charm. The atmosphere is warm, welcoming, and relaxed - never overly formal or intimidating, as Michelin-starred restaurants are sometimes perceived to be. The food was exceptional. Every dish showcased not only incredible flavours but also meticulous attention to detail, with each plate looking like a piece of art. The seven-course tasting menu took me on a journey through the region, highlighting the very best local and seasonal ingredients. For the first time, I also chose a non-alcoholic wine pairing, and it completely exceeded my expectations. For years, my options at fine dining restaurants were usually limited to Coca-Cola or water. This time, I was served beautifully selected non-alcoholic wines that elevated every course and made the experience feel complete. The seven-course vegan tasting menu was €135, while the three-course non-alcoholic wine pairing cost €35. An absolutely wonderful dining experience.
13/05/2026: A wonderful stay at this family-run hotel, in a setting that is equally charming. The staff were incredibly attentive and the services were of very high quality. The gourmet dinner with wine pairing was excellent. We will be back!
