Restaurant Ur Hegian sur Ainhoa

Hello We didn't stay at this hotel, but we ate there twice. Our gîte (self-catering accommodation) is located not far away in Ainhoa, about 2 km away. We were recommended by our hosts. A truly wonderful place where we ate very, very well, and especially homemade food. The specialty is paella made with fresh, high-quality ingredients. A very good menu. (The homemade trout fillet platter. The platter of Basque ham and pâté made with pork raised on their farm. The baby squid and homemade fries. The lamb was excellent. The albacore tuna salad was a delight.) This Logis restaurant is truly recommended; a wonderful discovery in the Basque Country and near the Spanish border. The owner is very pleasant, as are the waitresses, and my mother-in-law is always behind the bar—a truly lovely place. Thank you very much. See you soon. Hello, we arrived on Saturday, May 9th at 1 pm without a reservation, and it was very busy with reservations! The welcome was very friendly, and they managed to find us a table on the terrace for four. 👍 We were won over by the authenticity of the food and service! No frills, traditional cuisine with authentic country flavors. 👌 The dishes were generous and refined. Excellent value for money! 👍 We were taken care of by Jennifer, who was very friendly, charming, and professional!
