Authentic and traditional cuisine with fresh, seasonal products. The kitchen is open.
We enjoyed ourselves from starter to dessert. Whether with the daily menu or that of the butcher.
A terrace is available in fine weather.
The atmosphere is friendly with a decoration reflecting the history of this emblematic place in Aix-en-Provence. The welcome was warm, we were perfectly guided by the waitress in our choice of dishes.
Children are welcome there. The menu offers dishes adapted for them.

What a wonderful experience! 20 years since I heard about this little nugget. Cuisine like I prepare it myself as a culinary creator. Seasonal and fresh products prepared just like at home. I actually had the impression of having gone to eat with friends. A very friendly atmosphere, an interior courtyard that is worth gold in Aix en Provence. Such a kind chef who fully deserves his fame. Special mention for the vegetable terrine which is magical!!

Jardin intérieur vraiment agréable, service sympathique, les plats sont bons... MAIS au moment de payer l'addition, le total ne correspondait pas à deux menus à 29,50€. Explication: "Oui, mais le thon mariné ne rentre pas dans la formule menu" Donc , entrée 9€+plat 22€+dessert 9€50 = 40,50€. Quand même! Vérification faite, cette indication n'apparaît pas sur le menu et cela ne nous a pas été signalé à la commande. C'est contrariant et c'est pour cette raison que je ne recommanderais pas Chez Charlotte. Dommage.

An authentic restaurant with a beautiful outdoor space offering a perfect setting for lunch on a hot day. The menu of the day was good value with a choice of fish or meat and a great range of starters and puddings we loved our sword fish with fresh tomato salsa and the chocolate fondant was delicious. The charming young staff were very attentive and efficient even though the restaurant was full great value wine offered in pichet
