Very good DJ. Dance area very lively. There is plenty of seating area(get there early). Dance floor loud but plenty of conversational area.

Great place by the water to relax and have a good time. I had incredibly good guacamole and salmon gravlax. I recommend this place 200% for eating or drinking, with this superb view of the Charente and top-notch staff.

I can’t understand the 3 star review for this restaurant. We weren’t going to go but so glad we did. Friendly staff, reasonable, lovely 3 course menu. Nothing to complain about.

Découverte de ce restaurant en bord de Charente, belle terrasse, intérieur joliment décoré, repas du midi 16 euros, plat et dessert, bien servis mais plat arrivé froid. Excellent dessert, excuses de la serveuse et du chef, les 3 cafés ont été offerts, très commercial, on reviendra pour la terrasse. Réservation recommandée

25/01/2025: This place remains emblematic on the Angoulême plateau. The prices charged are correct. The staff is generally pleasant.
24/01/2025: We ate an excellent tartare, the service was very fast as we requested. The servers are very pleasant and attentive. Just 10 minutes from the station. We recommend!

Brasserie Le Saint-Martial

11/09/2024: I had a wonderful time doing it again
28/08/2024: Lunch this day with 4 adults and 2 children, we were told when the dishes were brought to us that there was no more pasta in the kitchen. So we are automatically given fries. Not necessarily what we wanted...but hey we don't say anything...napkins and forks are missing...the lamb shank doesn't have that taste (no seasoning) the waitress with glasses is overwhelmed but very nice. On the other hand, the little young girl is absolutely execrable and not customer service oriented! A meal costing more than €150… Big service because of the film festival but that's not an excuse, we live here all year round and we expect a better welcome and service.
