So happy to see La Gargouille back, more vibrant than ever! This legendary establishment had been struggling since Michel Vacher left. Today, what a revival! A wonderful team is dedicated to this iconic Chambon landmark, with its welcoming and friendly terrace. Jacques' idea of ​​adding an oyster bar is brilliant, especially since the Tatihou oysters are incredibly fresh and delicate. We really enjoyed the well-thought-out menu with its lovely salads and excellent sharing platters. And the Saint Veran… What can we say? We'll definitely be back! Thank you to the whole team for your warm welcome!

It's urgent to correct this terrible 3.6 average rating, which no longer reflects the establishment at all since its (recent) change of ownership. So YES, the food is very good, the servers are friendly and efficient, and you're served quickly even on busy days (Saturday market). Customer satisfaction is a constant priority: it's the lowest-rated place in Le Chambon, yet paradoxically, you can book with complete confidence. Since the change of ownership, the reviews are NO LONGER representative at all!
